I have noticed this for a long long time, and keep hearing people talk about how bad pac would beat Floyd, but take a look at these... Pac is fighting a counter puncher here and look at this... You HONESTLY think floyd would not capitalize on this?? Boxing basics to protect yourself, and JMM capitalized on PACs arms down and chin up... Come on, now he's gonna fight the best counter puncher and defensive fighter in the game and people are thinking Pac is gonna tear up PBF, get real and learn boxing :deal This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected
you seem to forget that even though PBF is the best defensive fighter, there will be "habits".. these "habits" will be exploited and Roach will have a gameplan.. you also seem to forget that PAC is executing the gameplan flawlessly.. well except for the cotto fight in which he wanted to test the power so people would shut up about "pac can't handle WW power." Team PAC will have a gameplan and PAC will execute it. No matter how impregnable the defense is.
i think he was trying to show that pac is very open for counters. there will be a different fight plan for floyd for sure if the fight gets made.
I dont think that PAC would win but he is definitely a 50% chance. For all Floyds greatness, his accomplishments at 140 + are not that great. A handfull of carefully selected opponents who mostly werent peak of their form or division: DLH @ 154 was best achievement. Hatton wasnt that great period and got murdered by PAC in 15% of the time. Judah gave him hell for the first 6 rounds, Shamba was shot, Gatti = who cares, Baldomir = big deal, Marquez was way out of his depth, even though Floyd looked impressive. On the other hand PAC has just destroyed the linear 140 champ in two and arguably the best Welterweight in the worlld TKO.
To show Pacs flaw of hands down chin up. And Yes Roach WILL gameplan. i dont forget that at all. You are forgetting the versatility of floyd and his ability to adapt on a dime. Pacs greatest atribute aside from his heart is his speed. floyd may not be AS quick with his HANDS but IMO matches his foot speed and even his hands can KEEP UP to PAC. but floyd is a counter pucher and that nutralizes speed. So when pac and roches gameplan get shot down after round 3 or 4 because floyd changes up, what do you suppose happens when those hands are down in the ring with a fighter like floyd? i'm not hugging cuz i love pac to death but be realistic and forget accomplishments and look at 2 PEOPLE in the ring. If you know boxing, you know this
I agree 100%. I don't care what gameplan raoch comes up with. Floyd is too good defensivly and his offense off of the defense is too good as well. He's also way more durable than anyone else that Manny has fought. He'll pick manny apart and make it look easy IF the fight happens. I just hope they can agree on some terms.
I agree 100% But in case you haven't noticed, ESB is a Floyd-hatred breeding ground... Very few people will admit anything positive about Floyd, especially in relation to the Pacman... But your point is well-taken. Floyd will exploit these openings, because of his impecable timing and speed. I don't see much Pac can do to correct these openings by the time these guys fight. HE will be too busy trying to gameplan how to break down Floyd's defense, whilst forgetting that his own Defense will need some work...
I dont think anybody is really writing floyd off? Most people just think he's a ducker & pain in the ass so they want him to lose. Any rational person sees that Floyd has a big chance of winning this. One thing that should be considered is Floyds low work rate. Will his 2 flush counters per round be enough to offset PAC high work rate? I dont think so. I predict this will be a boring fight in which Floyd defends the whole night and then complains about losing a decision after not throwing enough punches. He would have lost tpo DLH if hoya didnt die the last 4 rounds.
i think pac has a better chance of beating a 135 and below version of floyd, the one that trades punches with opponents. but todays version floyd, pac will have a very hard time catching him, he's very cautious now, and has defence first attitude. i think pac's only chance is if he hurts floyd early.
They're not serious, they just loathe him so much they want him to lose, they dont even believe Pac-Man can win. Anyone who does they never say how or why, with no analysis. Blind faith is all it is....Mayweather is the superior ftechnical fighter and just as gifted athletically.
Her's an analysis for ya: Mayweather has inefective punching power to offset PACs aggression. His defeisive style will prevent him being knocked but not necessarily win him rounds. PAC wins UD cause Floyd stands behing his guard the whole night failing to land enough counters. :yep
Must be a typo on your part. Mayweather is 40-0 (25kos) he will gain Manny's respect with his power, and will be landing that right hand flush on the wide open PINOY... If a shot Morales can hit him with regularity you dont think Mayweather can who is a better counterpuncher and defensive fighter than Marquez.....whom Manny struggled mightily with 2x....yea great analysis:rofl
Come on chaps two great fighters here, Pac is getting better every fight a super puncher and lets not foget his proper weight is lightweight he really is a class act, Pac is the man....... Mayweather, great boxer, out the two definately the better technician and the best counter puncher in boxing, Mayweather does have a good dig but nothing special hits you more with slashing shots that have a build up effect. Cant help but think that Pac is gonnar play into mayweathers hands, think he might have the advantage. But Pac can defianatekly be the first to stop him. I dont doubt that. Either way i couldnt give a **** who wins cant wait for the fight...
