Two fighters dominating a division does not necessarily make it weak.

No only because I live in the US and they ignore the division for the most part. If they showed the Klit fights here I would watch everyone of them without a doubt.

Not really. I only enjoy watching two heavyweights, Haye and Wlad, and the big issue is that there is a huge difference in class between the top 3 and the rest.

Realistically, nobody is beating Haye, Wlad or Vitali apart from each other. Povetkin won't try, Adamek can't, Solis can't and these are the three best 'other' heavyweights. The issue for the second tier fighters, is that the jump to elite level is too big. Arreola got onto this second tier but because there is nobody in between the top tier, he got slaughtered when he moved up. It's happened with Chambers, Valuev, Ibragimov, Peter etc., and it's not going to change.

The biggest issue with the heavyweight division isn't the top level fighters - They're good and would be in any division. It's the lack of depth which isn't allowing the 'could be' fighters to mature into genuine threats. You have the elite and a huge gap, so any prospects can't become a threat to the top tier. When Haye, Wlad or Vitali lose, it will be because of their own weaknesses.

The division is poor because of this. A complete lack of interesting fights. Honestly, I don't even see much charisma outside of Haye either. There is literally no exciting character out there on the world level. None. The closest threat to Haye in terms of personality is Chisora, a guy who also needs years of maturing to become a threat, if he has world level potential.

Dull fighters and dull fights = dull division. I'd rather watch a fight from the 50's, than waste my time watching two east European slobs throw 17 ugly power punches a round.

Haye is clearly better than Valuev who is, what, 5th best?

Haye would destory Chagaev, Povetkin, Arreola, Adamek and another other C-class heavyweight.

Ali would be stopped by Marciano with no problem(most public opinions in 60th agreed with that), fraizer would be obliterated by ali without a problem(start of Fraizer reign), than it comes FOREMAN IS THE BEAST AND NONE CAN BEAT HIM, Larry Holmes is **** and he can't win against any champion of the past(it was popular opinion), MIKE TYSON IS UNBEATABLE !!!!, Evander holyfield would be raped by tyson, lennox would be raped by holyfield and so on. Do you see a pattern?

 

Haye is ****, Adamek has a great chance at beating him and Adamek also has a solid chance at Vitali. Last out the early rounds with Haye and you can definitely beat him, guy has **** stamina and a glass chin.

 

Yes! we got real "world" champions now! not a bunch of amercian nobodys like the last fifty years, if the easteuro's could have turned pro, everybody would be saying

**** stamina? He's had no issue going rounds whenever he wasn't weight drained. He kept up a good pace throughout the Ruiz fight and wasn't getting tired at all. Sure, against Valuev he was very inactive, but it was partly down to his broken hand and he would have thrown many more shots, if he was fully fit throughout the whole fight. Obviously the basis for this comes from his cruiserweight days, but...guess what? He isn't a cruiserweight any more. He isn't draining ridiculous amounts of weight any more and his stamina is no longer poor. Even as a cruiser he was fine against Fragomeni and the issues people talk about are only relating to certain fights. Any time he had a good training camp because he didn't allow himself to go well over 220lbs, he had no issues with stamina and looked fine.

Obviously fighters having stamina and chin issues because they are draining excessively is not rare. Khan, Cotto, Benn for three off the top of my head and there are many more.

As for his glass chin, I've always maintained that if the Klitschko's hit him, he could get knocked out, but it's not glass. He took a left hook off Macca which cut him badly, yet he wasn't wobbled. He took a shot from Barrett, similar to Abraham/Dirrell, and had no real issues taking it. He took power punches off Valuev, Ruiz, Fragomeni, Barrett and wasn't hurt. You could go on and on, but there's plenty of evidence to say he doesn't have a terrible chin, but what's the evidence he does? A freak shot off a, as people love to say, 168lb Mock? It happens in boxing. If Mock was 20lbs lighter, which he wasn't, how is it different to Ali being knocked down and badly hurt off Cooper? If there was time, maybe Ali would have been stopped? And I'm pretty sure Ali didn't have a "glass chin". As for the Thompson stoppage, that was stamina, as Thompson himself has admitted. Against Mormeck he was severely drained and got up easily enough.

You can see there and say "Haye has a glass chin and **** stamina" but if it was so **** and so glass, he's doing ****ing well in his career, isn't he? Considering you sum him up as "****", how many legitimate, unified world champions are ****? How many two weight world champions are "****"?

Honestly, I think Ruiz is better than Arreola and Adamek. I'd pick him to beat the pair of them. Valuev would beat them all, maybe apart from Povetkin and I'd pick Chagaev over him again.
