Lol!! The guy looked like he should be competing on the Mr Olympia stage when he fought Badr Hari. Yeah that's not the product of horse meat and Nitro Tech.

Adding to that, Don Catlin is the preeminent anti-doping doctor in the world, the man behind the the preeminent lab in the world, the UCLA Olympic Lab, when he decided to semi-retire from the lab, he chose to not go to USADA.

One has to ask why? I wonder if it has anything to do with USADA not explaining how they justified letting an athlete take massive doses of IV fluids, then issuing a TUE for it which completely breaks WADA Code, then hiding the fact for 19 days?

Hmm, I wonder...? Do you wonder? Wonder... I wonder why he chose to head up VADA???

"This ****"? You don't like it when fans show concern about fighters being tested for performance enhancing drugs in a sport where people die, get paralyzed and end up with brain damage?

If one is a huge fan of Floyd or PBC, they'll have some weird irrational loyalty to USADA.....

Depends for what reason. For example Kovalev and Ward aren't enrolled in VADA because they have no wish to be ranked with the WBC but had VADA testing for their fight.

Being that the WBC are footing the bill, they don't want the money spent on fights that don't concern them.

If you look at all these fighters, other than Haye and Porter, all have titles with other sanctioning bodies or fights coming up for them. The VADA enrollment only permits you a ranking with the WBC. So unless those fighters intend to unify with the WBC champion, the WBC are footing a bill for something that won't concern them, nor would the fighters benefit from having the test being that they can't be ranked either.

Plus if the guys in question wanted drug testing for their fights, they would be tested more often if they just paid them the one off fee (as Kov and Ward did). With the WBC program you may not ever get tested randomly.

Why would an athlete wants to
be tested randomly? If I'm an athlete I would not want that, I'm not necessary want to use any PED. It can only be done if the governing bodies enforce the rule. Even with that there will always a way to get around the rule.

I would find it quite inconvenient if I'm 4 inches deep in a woman and some drug tested started banging on my door too.

:risas3: I'm all for better testing, but you can't fault people for not volunteering.

Yeah I know Ward & Kovalev used it and Pac & Vargas used it which helps erase some suspicion about them juicing.

My only contention to your point is there are guys not under the WBC who are Vada enrolled 365 like Kell Brook, Magdaleno & Parker. All title holders of one of the other belts.

lol I dont think it's that random there's abit more planning involved hence why people can still beat Vada testing.

Brook did it because he fought for the WBC against Golovkin, the programs hadn't roled out at that stage but Brook needed to be on it if he won. Parker and Magdaleno enrolled before they won their titles, and likely didn't want to lose their rankings with the WBC if they lost.

But if you enrol I dont think it's just for the fight or I would think boxrec would have edited that, granted you could be right and boxrec didn't amend it.
