When it's all said and done, it's a matter of personal perspective. You can analyze anyone's resume positively or negatively depending on what your agenda is.

Everyone's resume can be diminished just like it can be given added value.

Bottom line, what distinguishes Pacquiao's resume from Mayweather's in the last decade is the fact that Pacquiao consistently fought more of the best available guys within the weight classes he was fighting at the time, therefore I give a the slight advantage.

On the other hand, if it wasn't for Bob Arum not letting FMJ fight Cotto and Ricky Hatton avoiding Mayweather at 140lbs, then the roles might have been reversed...cause up until he made it to 147lbs, Mayweather was ready to step in the ring with anyone and everyone, within his own weight class.

 

So how would rate them? PPV? WHo's the cash cow? Who has less losses? Who can beat a lot of fighter in fanstasy match-ups?
