Paper champs and tittle holders are ducking best boxers in their weight divisions simply because they can beat & hoop their asses.

So they search for easier opponents or for opponent who can generate more money.

    Boxing is so **** nowadays.

Boxing has had an absolutely tremendous year. It's been great. Best year for a long time. But last year was good too.

    So boxing isn't ****.

Risk-reward has always been the way - always. Most of the really big fights that I would have loved to see that didn't come off are colour-line era fights. Things are better now in some ways.

It's always been like this to an extent, just much more extreme now.

So trully good boxers don't really get opportunity and recognition which they deserve.

While mediocres and bums get their opportunites to fight for belts.

If they win, circle goes again and again.

On obvious principle, many of the best boxers in history are one half of some of the biggest fights that never happened.

Yes I'm really tired, Rigo should school these "champions" in his division but they all shamelessly duck him even admitting it!

It has always been like this, but not quite as extreme, because the money at stake was never so extreme.

It will remain the same or get worse as a whole as long as there is no mechanism to compel fighters (particularly high earners who will simply drop whatever belt whatever alphabet org is trying to enforce a mandatory of) to takeon a certain opponent.

The business of boxing is the enemy of the sport of boxing.

Boxing been amazing this year. Monster make big name for himself, Takuma take big risk, Ryo Matsumoto smash former world champion, Stamp Kiatniwat step up big, Kosei Tanaka schedule for amazing fight, Froch Vs Groves 2, Flyweight division amazing......

...some people just like complain lots or not follow sport beyond American TV.

REALLY tired of it. Pacroid v Rios? Pacroid v Algieri? Pacroid v Bradley? All crappy fights.

At least Floyd fights guys who will give him trouble as many compare Maidana to Castillo. Pac is fighting feather fisted scrubs.

At the risk of sounding like a hipster doofus, you need to look past the mainstream, big-ticket U.S. fights to find the really cool stuff.

If our media and networks really had their stuff together, all we'd be talking about is how insane the fly and featherweight divisions are.
