It was a pleasure to see these guys praise one another. I have tons of respect for Areola, who after a very close fight gave props to Adamak. Also the war that was waged in the ring gave the fans there moneys worth
I agree with you that it was nice to see, but I don't think of it as old-school at all. It's almost always the case the two guys in the ring say positive things about one another after the fight. Every Friday night on Sky Sports, for example, we see it almost every time there is an interview.
Nice to see...don't think it was very close though, really. PS: I may not like Arreola's jiggling but he makes me laugh.
I'm not sure 'I would have won if it was in my hometown' is good sportsmanship. Yes Carl thats pretty obvious given your promoter buys off the judges when he arranges your fights. Good little brawl though
Yes I was gutted for him and his wife when I heard the news, I had a friend kill himself over a girlfriend about 10 years ago :-( Back on topic, Froch sportsmanship, acknowledging the best man won, apparently his mum and gf thought he won http://ekstrabladet.dk/sport/anden_sport/boksning/article1335761.ece
I guess for Froch to show any sportsmanship its a credit to Kessler. At the end of the fight the look they gave each other was good, they knew they'd been in a decent crowd pleasing fight.
