Don't blame us, man. They could have chosen to tell HBO to **** off, but it was the principles who decided the money was worth it. Get pissed at that outfit, not Americans. You expect HBO to pony up all that cash for a 1:00pm start?

 

2:30 isn't too bad , main event for cards actually in the US is about 4:30 .

The fight probably would have been at around 11:15-11:30 anyway , but this is good news as a whole as it means the Americans get to see it .

 

For real, man. I get a tooth ache and it's the end of the world. These guys fight through broken/fractured ribs, jaws, etc...

Who gives a ****, I have to stay up until 4am to watch big fights from the USA. Just book a central hotel and ask for a late checkout so you can have an extra hour in bed if it bothers you that much.

lets face it, it's not a big fight to non-boxing fans as neither are household names, however it's a mini-superfight in the world of boxing

 

Please don't think we are all like that. There are plenty of Americans who are not arrogant and realize that America is a great, but flawed country. No country is perfect and they all have their strengths and shortcomings. America is a melting pot and our identiy is that we are eclectic. People come here from all over the world because of the opportunity. Yes, there are some real jackasses that live here and vote for people like Bush, but there are also many intelligent people that live here that have travelled and are worldly. I want to visit the UK one day and I admire the loyalty that you guys possess. 9,000 people travelled all the way here to support Hatton...that's loyalty defined.
