    Yes. Then they'll assign Ali to "Greatest Bridgerweight" or some such division, other than Heavyweight.

    Mine is: With a normal count, Jack Dempsey knocked out Gene Tunney, in the 7th round, 2 different ways, to regain the Lineal Heavyweight Crown!

    Ali lost on purpose to Leon Spinks in 1978. I doubt that he was gambling but the motive to become the first 3 time champion was all he had left other than retire. He didn't want to retire. He had no chance of beating Norton.

    When you look at his weight going into the bout and his lack of effort over the course of the fight. Spinks was the only guy he thought he might beat in a rematch.

    You know something? If I had scored the fight based solely on that particular punch, I might be inclined to concede to you. Good thing I watched the whole of it. God forbid I reduce my argumentation to a single second of a twelve round fight.

    Oh, and Whitaker was ahead in the second round.
