Arguello´s greatest performance

I really like that Castillo fight, nice ebb and flow to it.

My favourite Arguello KO is the Alcala one.

 

Well there are so many terrific Arguello fights it's hard to pick a best.

I will say my least favorite fight of his was that Scott Pink Cat Walker bout. Man, Alexis had nothing and here's a guy with pink boxing trunks having a picnic with him. Walker had like zero muscle tone and landed about everything he threw. That big heart of Arguello and competitive nature just would not give up between rounds or anything. He hung in there to the end and took his lumps and congratulated the other guy that probably would have been fired as a sparring partner years before.

 

Alexis Arguello vs. Hilmer Kenty was signed for a Madison Square Garden bout.

It fell through, 1-week before the scheduled bout.
