Probably Arguello. Arguello has that accurate long distance game going with the straight right hand, but can also do effective work on the inside with his short hooks and uppercuts. I would've loved to see the bodypunching between the two, with Chavez's left hook the body, and Arguello's right uppercut to the body.

Maybe more than 11 pages, and basically he would be saying the same thing he always said, that is, the nonsense he used to say to justify his point of view without actually breaking down the fight..... He would be talking about how many cabi drivers JCC fought, Arguello being slow and Floyd being a chicken, and that would be enough according to him.

Nope -- no one. He lost his 11th pro fight by tko, but he was just a kid.

I don't rember if it was his 11th fight, but I do know that he broke his left hand in the fight with Jorge Reyes and he couln't continue fighting, therefore the fight was given to Reyes by TKO, but Arguello was winning the fight. :yep This TKO has nothing to do with Arguello being dropped or hurt or something like that, no, not at all.

The fracture on his left hand was so bad that people around him thought that his days as aboxer were over, because in order to fix his hand the doctor would have to put some metal (titanium??:huh). Anyway, the surgery was a success and there was no need of any metal to fix the bones.

By the time Arguello had to fight Olivares and after the fight was signed some people around olivares promotorer and trainer were told that Arguello had broke his left hand in a match against Reyes, and that they should ask for some Xrays of that hand. This happend because Arguello was dropping his opponents like flies. His was knoking down and out rivals with his left hand, with his left hook..... yes, the same left hook he KOed Escalera in rdn 13th the second time.

It was obvious that Arguello's power was a concern for Olivares and his seconds and they asked for the Xrays..... and guess what.... they found nothing, and therefore the fight happend.

Funny thing is that Arguello dropped Olivares with a short, crispy upper to the chin, and that was Arguello's famous left hand that did the job that night. :yep Deja Vu.....

Except for Lockridge and LaPorte, who had Chavez fighting on the backfoot due to their power.

Unfortunately none of these guys will ever fight each other, and will never fight each, so this thread must be worthless?

Out or these three It's Arguello, then Chavez, then PBF. But the best ever at 130 was Duran.

He was too green and crude(in comparison to his prime LW and early WW self) to have been considered so, his only notable win being over Ernesto Marcel in a highly competitive fight.
