Arguello v Pacman at 130

Hey ACB,

When I said "the guy was good" I probably should have said "the guy was great" I understated it Re: Arguello. Two previous posters Brooklyn & Cooke pretty much broke down how and why Arguello would win. and Divac afterward.

Forgot to mention also Arguello was one smart fighter also, in addition to his technical skills and hard punches.

Good stuff, if in the classic forum the poll would be 9-1 Alexis I think.

 

There was a poll last year (in the classic forum) and the results were like 30 to 1. The one who voted for Pac did not explain how he would win and because wasn't a public poll we never knew who the poster was. However, there is no need to make a poll, just count the votes of people who are posting and take it from that.

Wasn't there recently a thread somewhere as to how pac would have done against Limon, Boza Edwards, and Chacon.

I know for sure he would have opened a can of whoop ass up on Pryor, hehe.

There was actually a pic of Marv I had in an old ring or KO mag (long gone) that I liked better, it was like this one but he had a snarl on his face during the punch, probably against Hamsho.

That one is cropped from the Minter fight I got somewhere on the web.

c'mon you can't just vote without an argument or any form of discussion. I'm a pac fan also and would only want him success but simply voting because you're a fan is unreasonable.

he was unbelievable at superfeatherweight. cleaned up the division by tko/koing the 'best' boxers at that weight.

Arguello by KO. Pac might be leading on the cards at the time, but somewhere in there Alexis lands his body shots and killer right, and it is good night.

 

A stand up, straight forward, much smaller pressure fighter against Arguello at 130? Pac is a great fighter but he is too small, a horrible style matchup, and would get Kayoed in this fight. I don't see it going more than 7-8 rounds.
