Although fighting at 126 is a fair fight and common ground, you've just got to give weight to Arguello being bigger and stronger imo, he was more natural and more successful at higher weights than Morales was respectively. People talk about Morales weight draining at 122 to gain an unfair advantage but **** that, Morales was a force of nature at 122 pounds and had a good resume, he had a shitload of fights there. At 126 i just don't think Morales would be employing the right style, he would be game for a war as always. Arguello could do the scoring in such a battle. Arguello doesn't stop him for me. He can likely but i'm not taking that. Morales extends him, simply because he was a warrior of the very highest order.
Arguello too tall and strong for Morales.............. A.A. by KO in rd 7....... Peace..... SR.BILLARDO

Hey look, I love Morales, but he'd be open to Arguello's right hand and left hook...all night long...and he ain't going to be able to take too many of them. I think Arguello scores a knockout...within the first 7 rounds. Far, far to open for a puncher like Alexis, sorry.
Bad matchup for El Terrible, in with a taller fighter, a more precise, varied and powerful puncher, and a better allround technician. Morales would fight til the end, but it wouldn't be long: seven rounds?
