He fought him with one eye and at times made Lemieux look amateur.

He's coming off by far his career best W (and technically best two in a row, if you count Vera in BKB)

Aside from Clottey his best official results (excluding game performances in losses) are stoppages of JSK & Powell and the SD over Kassim Ouma. Decent stuff but even if all three of those had been consecutive they wouldn't give him momentum a dominant UD over Clottey has given him now. He should definitely strike while the iron remains hot, as Rosado is the kind of guy who is going to fade very abruptly on a very steep curve.

Yes he should strike while the iron is hot and continue getting wins rather then be fed to a title fight where he will be chewed and spat out.

Rosado has a LOT of mileage on his body (and career) and Rosado almost did "fade very abruptly on a very steep curve" and it was the Clottey win that salvaged his career.

If Rosado wants and gets a title fight with Canelo, then fair play to him, his choice. But it's very likely once Canelo is done with him, his body will just say "No Mas"

Beating an inactive, almost 40 career WW isn't exactly a good judge of how he'd do against Canelo

I meant physically he's due to fade, given his blood and guts style and having been in lots of wars already (with the moonlighting in BKB not exactly helping prolong his shelf life) - and I just don't see him stringing together multiple victories of similar quality to Clottey before he gives out. He's far better off parlaying that boost into one cash-out payday than gambling on a 'nice run' that could unravel on him any moment - and ensure he never gets that payday.

I think his body has already started to fade in that manner a while ago.

Also, I think saying Clottey is his best win says a lot about his career lol.

Rosado doesn't have much of an amateur career to speak of, (8-3) he learned on the job in the pros. That's what your record will look like if you fight the comp he did and while not exactly knowing what you're doing.
