I was with Kermit his first 25 fights. For 24 of those fights Kermit stayed in shape nearly year round. When he was fighting 4-8 rounders he always got a minimum of a week off after a fight sometimes 2 weeks if possible. When he fought 1- or 12 rounders I liked a minimum of 2 weeks off, but preferred 3 weeks off. The thing about Kermit then was he was single, hungry, loved boxing, and was in good shape year round. Lived clean. No drinking, no smoking, no drugs. Never weighed more then 168. He was truly a gifted athlete.

turned hiss back on everyone that got him to where he is, and it all began at the start of his first fight with Margarito.

That is the story of many boxers. At some level of success they think it is "them" and not the team.

Fights are won in the gym.

Yup, he actually said that I was good for nothing but holding the stop watch. Proof is in the pudding though. With Marshall and I he was 24-0 22 ko's. The moment he started doing things his way he became a fraction of what he was, and will never live up to what he could have been.

The $10 million penalty was just as ******ed as the accusations and OSDT demands. But that was a "cause and effect" situation. Floyd caused the equally ******ed reaction from TEAM PAC with the demand of $10million per pound OVER 147!:rofl

That was stupid for PAC to even think about that demand but it was clearly a response to all of Floyds antics during that phase of negotiations.

Yea...Mike asked Holy to test. Holy accepted. Mike didn't go around spreading accusations about Holy being a cheat and roiding up BEFORE hand either. And Mike didn't ask Holy to subject himself to unprecedented drug testing requirments throughout his came either. Mike asked for a reasonable after fight drug test and Holy agreed. PAC would have agreed to that from Floyd had he come at the situation the right way.

SRL had leverage over everyone else and his demands never PREVENTED him from fighting or taking on the toughest of challegnes that his era produced either. Floyd's let his mouth and demands prevent him from his biggest potential win and paycheck which Sugar wouldn't have allowed to happen.

You don't have to accept JMM's gurantee Slick. That's up to you. but it won't change the facts. JMM's gurantee was in FACT a career high $3.2 Mill.:yep Plus incentives from the PPV buys.

$1 million step aside money was NOT enough unless "****ing yourself in the ass" is something high on your priority list.

Floyd's comments and the words he chose to use speaking on Manny aren't really the most telling aspect Slick. It was always his "INTENTIONS". Floyd intended to discredit PAC. He could call him a "BUM" or "CHUMP or even "YELLOW" and all of those words would be interpreted as Floyd saying PAC isn't going to beat him. Some had more racial undertones than the others...but you feel what I'm saying.:yep Floyd KNOWS PAC's not a cake walk! Everyone KNOWS that FLOYD KNOWS that.

Floyd still may feel he can beat PAC...I don't think he's scared of punches or getting hurt. I think he's scared of losing and not liking the odds in coming out the winner.

But Everyone is just seeing floyd BARK, when all we all want to see is his BITE! And Floyd is showing NO signs of proving of of that talk as ture.

OSDT is NOT "******ed". So "******ed" that the entire Olympics uses it? :huh Anyway $10 million was "******ed" and Mayweather confident it was a non issue agreed to the "******edness".

It wasn't stupid. It was an attempt by Team Pac to get Mayweather to back down from drug testing. (More evidence of my point.)

Show me one place that FMJ said ANYTHING about Pac? What you will show me is FMS saying his OPINION. Just stop with that "unprecidented" BS. Everything starts somewhere.

Mayweather has leverage over Pac. Look at the numbers. If Pac wants to fight and make that money? He tests. If he doesn't want to fight and make that money? He doesn't test. Why keep up this soap opera BS? Because Manny wants to have his cake and eat it too. No testing. Pac is only the "biggest" win due to guys like you being brainwashed by the hype train. Pac will be a nobody once he is whipped just like Baldo and Mosley.

I don't and I won't. JMM has never made that kind of money. He has never cracked a mill. You keep believing the same "journalist" who couldn't get terms about the greatest matchup of the decade, but condems the undefeated fighter.

What fighter doesn't discredit his opponent man? This is boxing. The most humbling of sports to lose. If you don't think you can kick the other guy's butt you shouldn't be in that ring.

He wants the fight to be fair. No more. No less. That is REASONABLE. What isn't reasonable is a pro fighter making history not willing to show he is clean. If this were any other sport Manny would be laughed out of the sport.

No test. No fight. Not negotiable. Take the tests and get his butt kicked like the rest.

  10. So the ability to gain weight is due to ethnicity, and not metabolism?

Funny. Some of my Asian friends are skinny as twigs and go on eating binges in Chinatown after a night of clubbing. These are guys that eat huge meals daily and never gain a pound. My roommate, who is white, is the same way.

Just come out and say it, bro. You NEED a black to be at the top of every sport.

No. There are body types and limits on genetics. There are examples of everything, but there are also general truths. Metabolism is related to genetics (ethnicity).

What the hell does that have to do with anything? We are talking about scarfing this food down, metabolizing it ALL into muscle, AND being able to translate that into strength and endurance. I know all about Asians and their epic appetites. I also know that they are generally more fatty/smooth and find it harder to build lean body mass while also avoiding gaining some fat.

WTF? If James Toney popped up ripped and fit I would say the EXACT same thing. There are a TON of monster Mexican punchers who you would have no idea based on physique. Hell had Manny been a heavily muscled guy his whole career I wouldn't doubt anything. Quit trying to read some racist BS into what I am saying. You are an idiot.

I'm not saying what the OLYMPICS implement as "******ED". But the **** USADA was presenting per Floyd request was. The tests Floyd wants doesn't mean either fighter couldn't beat the tests. Olympic athletes are subjected to WADA and USADA's gold standard of testing. That's not what Shane and Floyd went through, nor what PAC would have to go through.

Just watch the USTREAM vid with all the racial comments he got some much love for. You'll clearly hear and SEE Floyd making those comments that he doesn't begin with.."IN MY OPINION".

Of course everything starts from some where. PAC winning titles in 7 weight divisions wouldnt' be considered "unprecidented" since EVERYTHING has to start from somewhere.

Floyd is the "SOAP OPERA". And He enjoys that role...MOST of the time. Now it's just a ****in problem. One that has clearly gotten under his skin and he's having a hard time displacing BLAME on anyone else given he's the begining and END to this soap opera episode.

So you agree with Floyd taht PAC is all HYPE and no substance? :think I wish you could loan your set to Floyd b/c his seem's to be MIA.:rofl YOu actually sound like you fight and you probably wouldn't have needed to make PAC take any specail testing like Floyd. If only Floyd himself had a fraction of the confidence his fans have in his chances in this fight, we'd actually have a fight.

JMM has cracked a $1 MILL bro!:rofl His rematch with PAC was over a million. How long you say you've been "watching" the sport again? Of course you can refuse to accept facts but that's on you. I'm just here trying to help.

Manny is willing to show he's clean as he ALWAYS has. He's just agreeing to ADDITIONAL "Floyd jr Requirments" just to get him to do his job and fight. There's already drug testing.....tests that have already caught other pro boxers. Additional tests are nice, but should be implemented BOXING wide not for one particualar fighters "excuse" to get out of a fight.

"PAC agrees and Floyd goes on vacation". That's all that really needs to be said right there. What can you do with the excuse "I lost my urge"....or "I'm all the sudden getting married". Of course he's not gonna fight PAC. He never had the "urge" to really go after the fight like he REALLY wanted it.

Are you joking? USADA are the ones conducting the tests! :patsch:lol:

The fight negotiations were when? The Ustream was when? Ahh, you don't have a grasp of timelines. Delusional.

Yeah it is and it would be FINE if he was also willing to do ANY test to prove he is clean.

No. Being brash is one thing. Saying you want one thing while doing everything NOT to get it is a soap opera.

I think Pac is full of crap. He has fought plodders his entire career. Even the boxers he faced (and lost or had a rough time with) were either known to be boxers second and/or easily drawn into brawls. Other issues too...

I think you are wrong. Manny only made $650k for the first fight. So you are saying Manny paid him more for the rematch? He was coming off of a loss to Chris John fighing for sub $100K purses. You are smoking.

Now you are talking silly. If he was willing we would be talking about the winner now. Again, you illustrate your lack of ability to grasp why full random USADA testing will NOT work for ALL boxing. It costs too much.

Again, Pac "agrees" to what? You don't know. Pac won't say. You just drink the Rot Stank Koolaid. Tell Pac to keep fighting Rot Stank boxers in crooked ass Texas where they see no need to drug test him. It is so obvious it is hilarious.

You funny man! Of course USADA would be overseeing the testing that Floyd requested of them. But that doesn't mean the tests USADA conformed to meet Floyds request is TRUE Olympic Style testing kid.

Slick...you silly as **** homeboy. The "TIMELINE" means ****....Floyd's words and his intent is all we need to know which have been clear since the begining of this year. He's said PAC is dirty....in more than one way.

PAC agreed to the "FLOYD MAYWEATHER DRUG TESTING" but Floyd wasn't willing to step up and Face Manny even after PAC agreed to everything.

Instead of saying what everyone already knows...Floyd comes up with a number of comical excuses to why he's not willing to face Manny even after agreeing to ALL of the terms.

Everyone has an opinion about Floyd and manny...but MOST feel PAC is the P4P king for a very valid reason. his resume supports that stance.

I'm not wrong about JMM and his purse for the rematch. He made over a million for the rematch. You do know that fight happened YEARS later b/c JMM avoided the immediate rematch right. They hyped built up b/c of PAC dominance and JMM was on a winning streak at that time. The Chris John Fight happened almost immediately after the 1st PAC fight when JMM didn't accept the rematch. I can tell you really are NOT a PAC or JMM fan by not knowing this.

PAC shouldn't be singled out for these kinds of accusations and demands just b/c Floyd wants to avoid having to face him. He coudl have just said he didn't want to take the fight and he would have been called a "DUCK"...but that's exactly what he's being called now and it's a lot worse b/c of the whole "song and dance" he displayed. It's embarrassing!

No one is drinking Kool-Aid man. we just seeing reality for what it is. Floyd ducked Manny and that's clear. Those who refuse to see it are deeply vested in Floyd on a extreme emotional level that clouds their ability to accpet logic or facts.

What? It is the same testing. The only difference is that in the amatuers you are subject to it year round. It also picks up during competition. You know nothing about this.

The time ine means everything! If I say something about you mama after you punch me then you blame it on me talking about your mama what sense does that make? You are a fool.

Says who? Last word from Pac was that he agreed to 14 days. If 14 days is OK then why in the hell did he fight Clottey? I will tell you... He didn't want that ass kicked before the elections.

Nobody "knows" it but you *******s.

Not really. Biased media maybe. Betting odds? Always swing Mayweather's way. PPV numbers? Again for FMJ.

Who cares what was avoided. The point is that JMM never made big money and would have happily accepted $1 mill to chill. I know when the fight happened. I also know that he was paid little to nothing. This is about purses fool.

Yes he should if he is fighting Mayweather. You sound super silly saying what you say after the Mosley fight. Pac ducked him too! Was Mosley singled out? Mosely did it and got it on. Take the test and get whipped like the rest. :deal

Just make sure you come back after the fight. You were probably in the same camp hyping Mosley. Anyone who knows boxing knows Pac is going to get his ass taxed.
