I thought Ariza went to Texas A&M like Heredia?

Tell me more about Ariza's background please.

Yeah, it's well documented that in training camp, many times Ariza and Pacquiao have heated argument regarding training. Pacquiao does not like to do the hard training methods he did for the Cotto fight in his recent fights...

If Pacquiao loses this fight, he'll be in a critical situation. I think that Pac should use his brain to fight JMM in the fourth fight if he really wanna beat him. Don't just think about knocking out JMM because that's the way to make you lose the fight.

Pacquiao is not doing the same strength and conditioning he used to do before. I remember I think it's in the Oscar fight, Pacquiao told that Alex's conditioning method is hard and painful.

The old fire in Pacquiao is gone, he is not training as hard as he used to be.

Strength and Conditioning is especially important for a fighter like Pac. He'll never be a skilled technician, he needs to be strong, aggressive and overwhelming. He needs to be in superb physical condition for that style he excels in. He's not going to outbox Marquez, Roach's ego makes him think that he can teach Pac to outbox Marquez. Roach is going to put Pac under because of his ego.

    Here's a specific quote:

"After completing my Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise and Nutritional Sciences, I furthered my education with two years of extensive medical training at The Health Science College of Medicine (HSC)."

Notice how he doesn't mention WHERE he got his undergrad degree. Odd, considering he gives the name of his supposed grad school.

Then he names a grad school that ALMOST sounds the same as one that actually exists, (the Texas A&M Health Science Center) but is not. Standard BS, in case anyone actually wanted to check. There is also no US school with the Acronym "HSC."
If you actually attended grad school, you would get it's name right when talking about it.

He also doesn't claim to actually have an advanced degree, only that he did "2 years of study" at that phantom university, which technically or legally could mean that he went there & read comic books while having coffee in the student lounge.

Anyone with an actual degree in the field of physiology / kinesiology (myself, for instance) can easily spot all the holes in the various things Ariza writes about. Some people can read a ton of books, & memorize all sorts of big words & short concepts, but not have the ability to tie it all together & see the big picture. (That's why you go to school, so professors can correct such things.) That's exactly what Ariza seems like when he writes on the subject.

Notice also that he seems unusually eager to prove that he's some kind of expert. REAL experts just get on with their work, as they have nothing to prove.

Did I mention that I don't like this guy?

That's not true, Ariza is right about most things apart from when he talks about nutrition. Even if he isn't totally qualified he's still incorporating a periodised plan with plyometric sessions and things that most fighters should do but don't.

pac did alright before ariza came, pac also did alright while ariza was there. i don't really see or understand why some people are giving ariza a lot of credit.

for the record, fortune conditioned pac from the time he started to fight in the u.s. until the solis fight. eric brown (paulie's trainer) then conditioned pac from mab 2 until the hatton fight. ariza only conditioned pac from cotto on to now.

looking back, pac should have just stuck with brown.

pac says arizas ways r too hard. u can see after the cotto fight, he became a different fighter. hes more technical now, thinking more because of roach. that explosiveness he had for the cotto fight is gone
