Tony's ring weight will be limited.

No way will he be ALLOWED to enter at 157 to 160.

Do you think Roach n team will be giving Margo a limit to what weight he can come in at?

No. He will weigh 146 in a 144 fight.

That is exactly what margarito would do and just pay 600,000 dollars for fighting a midget.

I think this scenario happened before. I am not sure when.

Can you fault him? The fastest and athletic guy he could find to fight against has no urge and is on vacation.

I really dont think so......reports are that Margarito is training harder than he's ever done, and he's always been a gym rat......

Honestly I think Margarito is going to climb the ring at no more than 162 lbs......which likely will translate to a 12-14 lbs advantage......that is if there is'nt a stipulation on the contract that Margarito will get fined for hydrating past a certain weight limit.;)

Not saying there is one, but there have been rumors in the past that DLH and Cotto had hydration weight clauses against Pacquiao.

I have no reason to believe they are true, as nobody from either camp has confirmed or denied the rumor, which is why I put a ;)after my post.

ODLH wouldn't agree to such a condition. Cotto said he trained for speed that's why he came in lighter than his usual self. People need to think whether what they read is real or just absolute ****.

I said I have no reason to believe its true, and I would'nt believe it unless someone from either camp confirmed it......

......however, its not far fetched to believe that DLH could have agreed to such a stipulation......someone arguing for it validity could make the argument that DLH weighed in officially at 145 lbs, and then only hydrated 2 lbs. DLH was as fighter who went nearly a decade not having weighed that low.......and to add to it, when DLH has let himself be re-weighed back in his days in the lower weight classes, he's gained significant weight after each official weighin.
One could argue, why not for Pacquiao?

For instance, for the Chavez rematch, DLH officially weighed 147 lbs, and then climbed the ring weighing 161 lbs, a 14 lbs weight gain.

A reason for why DLH might have agreed to such a stipulation was so that the fight could be made.

Remember, when the Pacquiao-DLH fight got made, Pacquiao was really a juniorlightweight who had only fought once as a lightweight.

Now, the choice for DLH at the time was, do I face the feared Antonio Margarito who has just gotten through brutalizing Miguel Cotto, or do I face the "midget" Manny Pacquiao and claim I'm facing the best p4p fighter in the world......

Pacquiao was really moving up 3 weight classes to fight DLH, so its not out of the question that in order for the fight to be made, Freddie Roach might have insisted there be a rehydration clause for DLH to even the fight out and give Pacquiao a chance.
Remember now, no one was really giving Pacquiao a chance vs DLH, he was unproven above lightweight.

Its possible that DLH might have agreed to the rehydration clause thinking there is no way that Pacquiao will be able to hurt me even if I'm in a state of being dehydrated.

Just a theory now........as its hard to believe that DLH made a decision to come in so low weight wise without having too.

You've got to be kidding. DLH was the cash cow when he faced Pacman. Why on Earth would he let Roach and co. set a rehyradtion limit when it would be tough as it is just to get down to 147? It makes zero sense.

Hate to say it but you sound a lot like you're a Pacman hater or Floyd fan. You are not giving the guy his just due. He is on a run that historical and all you can do is nitpick the guys he beat? :patsch

Yeah, that athletic and fast guy is Mayweather but last time i checked, he's running from Pacman.
