You want me to find articles, I'm not going to do that because they are not out there in abundance.

The suspicions were more than for just Pacquiao at the time......there are alot of fighters changing the way their body looks that also came of suspicioun.

Fighters like Roy Jones who went from middleweight and fought at Heavyweight........Bernard Hopkins who went from a skinny middleweight to form his body into a true lightheavyweight with all lean muscle.

There are alot more out there, but you're not going to find a journalist come out with an article and accusing them unless its form something the fighter does or comes out of his mouth.......

It was'nt becuase Mayweather requested PED testing that the media started to write about it.......its because Pacquiao refused the testing that it became headlines.


The media had no reason to write about their suspiciouns of just Pacquiao because there were many other fighters that were also suspect.

When a fighter refuses a request from another to legitly get randomly tested before a fight, you can make certain the media is going to write about it.

Just google Pacquiao and PED use and the internet is littered with stories about it.

You're way off. Manny starched Hatton and THAT is when Sr started shooting off his mouth about Manny being on something. After Cotto was when the A-Side meth bull**** started. And when he refused the drug testing, that's when **** got ridiculous.

 

You the boxing casual fan have only recently been hearing it......

The real boxing fan as been hearing suspiciouns on who's using and who's not for years......and Manny Pacquiao's name I've heard since the Morales fight to present and its increased with every weight division jump.

I heard it even from casual boxing observers when Pacquiao destroyed DLH.....around the neighborhood where I live from the DLH fight to present, I've heard alot of "that mother****er on something."

......it certainly did'nt start with Mayweather Sr.
....the media circus around the allegations started with Sr., but the talks even within the casual fan started way before then.

by that theory, they should be just as misinformed as me, shouldn't they? There was never any real suspicion until Sr opened his mouth. No one gave a **** about him talking since he was obviously an attention ***** trying to keep his son's name out there. Then Paulie jumped on. Then Cintron dived in. Don't try and bull**** me by calling me a casual fan and then validating your claims by saying other casual fans were saying he must be on something.

 

You can convince yourself of that if it makes you feel better, but the reality is that if Paquiao embraces the random testing proposed, all these suspiciouns and anything Mayweather Sr. may have said becomes a mute point.

......however, thats not the route that a PED user would take. The PED user would make a stink on why he's being singled out instead of agreeing readily to the tests without much fanfare.

I'll even give you a case in point.

99% of the boxing public did'nt know that Mike Tyson requested during his rematch negotiation that Evander Holyfield undergo a Steroid test beyond that what the commision was testing for.......

Because Holyfield agreed to such test, just about no one till just recently with Pacquiao's refusal did it hit the mainstream media.

Had the Holyfield-Tyson rematch not taken place over Holyfield refusing a Tyson request for a steroid test, it would have made the front page news of every newpaper and newscast in the world.
It would have been more of a story than this Pacquiao-Mayweather controversy over testing.
