Then that would be totally inconsistent. Amir Khan is right where he should be in terms of weight and career development at 5'10.

He is only 151 lbs if he is following his daily caloric intake there is no way he would be at risk of losing muscle mass the 3am shake is unnecessary.

    His weight means nothing.

It's how much his body is burning at day.

    Even that doesn't really matter.

At night, the body eats away at itself for energy. A calories in the middle of his sleep stops that.

eze, apparently a person Pacquiao's size burns 1 calorie per minute whilst sleeping. That comes out to about 480 calories a night. Do you really think that amount would make it necessary to wake up and have a 100 or 200 calorie protein shake in REM sleep? That seems like a bit much, yeah?

480 for the average person his size.

You need to factor in how much his body is trying to recover from the days workouts etc.

    It's more than necessary.

    Body builders do it.

A Body builders training regime is completely different to a boxers, it's simply ignorant to think that one would apply to another. Most Body Builders will train for a MAXIMUM of 2 hours a day and require that additional protein because they are tearing so much more muscle mass. A good nights sleep is all the more imperative for a boxer.
