It's 480. Everything he stuffed into himself before bed would account for the shift and anything else. On a comparable scale Pacquiao's body is used to the regimen it goes through. All things being relative. It doesn't require special adjustment of the natural scope of human biology, but that's what they would have us believe. AND, for whatever reason Amir Khan needs all this special "nutrition" as well, even though in theory he's supposedly doing the opposite of what Pacquiao is doing, and that's keeping his weight down.

I grew up around sports medicine. I have to admit, Ariza's presentation of the "facts" seem a tad iffy.

That's what I'm saying. Two nights ago I got 3 hours sleep. When I went to the gym I could barely throw my right hand because my body wasn't able to regenerate from the next day. People don't understand... Sleeping is as much for REPAIR and reproduction of new cells as much as anything.

These clowns in the Pacquiao camp cant even get their stories straight.......

Just a few weeks ago, Freddie Roach was saying that Pacquiao would'nt never make 140 lbs again, that he had outgrown the division.......

Now Ariza is telling us they have to overfeed Pacquiao and wake him up in his sleep to give him protien shakes so they can keep the weight on him!

Those clowns with the Pacquiao team continously contradict eachother. They seem not to be able to communicate with eachother to get their stories straight........

......and then the *******s here are up in arms on why the suspicion of Pacroid!

And just what exactly is in these protein shakes? For all we know Ariza could be secretly spiking them with some form of PED. Manny could be thinking he's energized by some natural vitamins when in reality they're illegal substances.

This thread is absurd. ****ing same dudes who were sports medicine doctors when the drug testing fiasco happens are now nutritional experts too.

That's another thing that has made people uncomfortable. Ariza has already made it crystal clear that Pacquiao has no knowledge of what he's taking. Not sure why he wanted to create an alibi for Pacquiao or even say something along those lines. Perhaps Koncz had something to do with that.

You sure... they would shrink your dick more than likely.

All jokes aside. I think the dude Ariza is dirty. I never trust a grown man that talks in a bitchb voice. And the fact that I even know this guys name is some ****. Nobodies nutrionist is this vocal or would even feel this important to a fighter. This mother****er is basically on par with Roach with importance. He is a slick mother****er and when he threw that "excuse" out there early when the heat was first on Pac putting his dick in the fire.. "Pac dont know what he takes.. I give him everything he takes" What? Mother****er? Maybe to a gullible dumb ass green gump ******* that is just normal talk but that sounds mighty defensive to a normal cat. You falling on swords kind of ****ing fast there buddy. Then Manny says he's clean and Roach.. but Ariza is the only one that knows what he puts in his special blends.. I think if he gave them the ingredients he would not have a job.... so I believe him. So basically I think this dude got hired to do a job and obviously he is doing a good job but who knows if he did some shakey **** to get those results fast and easy. Its just the typical steroid athlete situation that has been seen 100 times over but Pac just dont have to test.

According to an internet diet/calorie intake site, eating these in 1 sitting at McDonald's

    1 Quarter pounder/cheese: 500 cal
    1 Large fries: 400 cal
    1 Milk shake: 380 cal
    10 chicken nuggets : 400 cal
    ______________

    equals: 1680 cal

3 meals a day of that equals 5000+ calories.

And they said he eats 6 times a day, plus the higher calorie liquid intake, protein shakes, that's easier to take than bulky solid meals.

It's not that hard to consume big amounts of calories, if you know what foods are full of it. There are healthy foods with high calorie content even in small serving sizes. Like wild honey for example.

Not saying they feed him junk food all day, I'm just saying it's not that hard to believe that he can consume 7000 cal/day.

One reason I believe Manny is clean is because I used to be on that type of diet before, where I'd drink protein shakes before bed and when I sleep because I did some bodybuilding. I was taking MCFA oil and 6 meals a day of chicken, fish, potatoes, veggies to the point my jaw was tired from eating. I was eating about 3000 calories a day.

My energy level was off the hook and it was unbelievable how easy running, almost sprinting 4 miles was. I wasn't as ripped as Manny but I had a V-shaped torso and was cranking 255lbs bench at a bodyweight of 170lbs. I was working out 5 days a week.

Ultimately I had to quit because it was expensive to buy all that food and my shoulder got bust. So its feasible that an athlete who has been training all his life, suddenly gets access to scientific training, food and supplements and blows up like Manny does.

Well the whole idea for Pacmans diet is to keep him up at around the fight weight maximum.....or just a bit higher.

No one said he would go down to 140lb if he trained too hard did they??:hey

They want Pacman to fight at the highest he can while training his ass off at the same time.

Im sure Pac could easily be able to drop a division withourt too much trouble.... ......they want him to fight at the highest he can in the welterweight division that he is in now
    .
Its not rocket science....but it is science none the less.

No ones comparing training, we are comparing how they take care of their bodies.

Having a protein shake in the middle of the night is completely fine.

If he has a protein shake prior to bed, it will only last so long before the body starts to eat away at itself.

I have no idea what khan is doing so I cant comment.
