GIMME A BREAK DUDE!!! I didnt think nothing of this till he said that. why give Maidana that?? Because he was totally getting pounded in his face right :huh:huh

Something fishy folks. and Rios just failed one of his Vada test also, and Ariza was with Pacquiao for a long time....

Like I said Maidana pounded Broner and thats fine, but when Ariza is talking dental rolls I dont buy it not one bit, could've kept up with something better then that.

    we shall see

Was the doctor looking at Maidana's mouth before he went to his corner? If so, that kind of makes sense...

This is what Ariza says in another interview

He flip flopped on his story. That's what makes it fishy. He went from pieces of gauze to dental rolls in another interview. The dental rolls is plausible but why didn't he bring it up when first asked? TBH, I can't really make out a pill because the videos I've seen have low FPS.

It just doesn't make sense...why risk a fight Maidana was winning and why give you something to help you in the last three minutes of a fight? I don't think anything illegal was done, there wasn't a need for it.

How in the hell did pieces of napkins turn into dental rolls. Next he's gonna say there was never any tissue to begin with.

It was obviously some sort of ammonia or smelling salts. Ariza hopped into the ring with the gauze in hand as soon as the doctor let Maidana return to his corner. He probably grabbed it when he saw that Maidana was a little stunned and got it ready in his hand while the doctor was looking at Marcos. And Maidana pushed the gauze away repeatedly after Ariza put it under his nose; a reaction that the strong, pungnant smell of amonia would likely cause.

Chino got hit with a very solid shot while his hands were down after the bell and was probably buzzed pretty good. There's no way his corner was going to let Maidana lose the fight in the last round because of a cheap shot, so they gave him something to wake him up. I think its justifiable here, if it was salts, because he was hit late and no additional time was given by Cole. It's not like he was dropped late in the fight and needed saving. He got badly fouled and seeing that the ref wasn't doing them any favors, they took matters into their own hands and woke their man up. If Broner would have been allowed to stop Maidana in the 12th because of that cheap shot, it would have been a travesty.

Where is the outrage about the punch after the bell? Cole didn't even warn Broner for it and Cole did nothing about the fouls by Broner, such as forearms, elbows, excessive holding, etc. Is the Texas Boxing Commission angry because Cole did not help Broner enough? Talk about the video, I can't see any pill being pushed up Maidana's nose, but I sure could see the illegal punch. What about the long count in the 2nd round? Broner is a sore loser. If I were going to cheat, I sure would not give a boxer a pill right in front of cameras live on HBO, that would be stupid, esp. when my fighter was clearly winning the fight. A blatant punch clearly after the bell is a serious foul, a fighter can be disqualified for such and some have been, but nobody talks about it and all the other fouls.

Ariza has always been a shady POS.

Only people that will defend him are Pacquiao fans.
