Team Khan must honor the f*cking contract instead of stealing it.

Khan better break away from his team if he wants a bright future in Boxing. F*cking chump change team.

Ariza made a lot of jokes based on stereotypes people have about P_akistanis/Indians.

    Was he being a racist?

Ariza is pissed that's why. Khan's team not only stole their contract with him but also other contracts that has nothing to do with them.

Ariza is showing no class with his racial stereotype insults. If Team Khan did steal contracts he should take legal action against them and settle matters.

Maybe Ariza is right and Khan's team are miserly *******s but there is no way you can even wipe your butt in a vegas hotel without being on camera. I don't buy the breaking into the room and stealing contracts BS. There would be video evidence which Ariza's lawyers could get from Mandala Bay of Team Khan breaking and entering if this was indeed true.

I’ve still not had a listen, but judging by the comments here, he does appear to be going a bit too far now. Fair enough, voice your discontent towards them, but keep the digs/insults within a reasonable boundary. No need to go towards racial stereotypes. It’s like someone saying…. “Margarito and his goons should stick to selling tacos from food-stands”.

And seeing as though Khan’s team have said very little in response, I thought I’d quickly give their account….

    • Ariza’s payment arrangements have been changed by Roach. He’s now required to seek contracts of his own with fighters, whereas previously he was paid by Roach.
    • Instead of going to Team Khan to sort a new contract, Ariza went straight to Khan himself, hassling him with paper-work in the final leading-up days to the Maidana fight. Even on the night of the weigh-in where Khan needed to be focused on the fight.
    • Team Khan have no problem with paying Ariza. They’ve been doing so, through Roach, for the past 6 fights. Their problem is with how he went about it - going behind their back in getting Khan to sign a contract.
Make of that what you will, but it’s not a simple case of “Oh, Khan’s team are being tight and don’t want to pay Ariza.”

What was the racism? The stereotypes I heard were about taxi drivers.

    Exactly!!

Ariza also waited for the right time when Khan was most vulnerable then asked him to sign the contract!

''I go straight to the fighter, the fighter pays me'' how does this justify his actions?? There are procedures in place for everything in life you can't just do as you please! For example if I was owed money from a firm lets say from Virgin then would I go to Richard Branson and ask him to pay me or would I go through the relevant channels put in place???

The same way what sense does it make in approaching Khan?

If the contract was stolen and if he does have a copy of it then he shouldn't be worrying at all he can still enforce it, so why all this commotion?? Just because he has a loud mouth it doesn't make him right. Since Ariza was a close Team member he should know better than to approach Khan himself.

He has made many accusations about Team Khan how they operate and do things these are just sour grapes and shows unprofessionalism. I bet you Team Khan has a million of things that they can say about Ariza and his methods of work!!!

The last time Khans family interfered in his career to this extent was in the run up to the Prescott loss , looks like Amirs gone back to ignoring real boxing people and allowing himself to be pulled in the wrong direction again by his family , they pissed a lot of people off with thier greed in the past and now it looks like they,ve gotten to Amir again.

You only need to see how Naz Hameds family disrupted him and allowed him to be the diva prior to his loss to Barrera to see how this is playing out in team Khan - The Hamed brothers treat Manny Steward like hired help and if they are allowed to Khans family will treat Roach with the same disdain .

You have to understand the different dynamic there exists in a muslim family compared to a western family - we would just tell ours to back off , but for a dutiful muslim it would be impossible to show such disrespect to his father and brothers - if they pushed him on it he would drop Roach like a brick.

Family - who the hell would have one ???

Ariza is great at what he does but he is not the only good conditioning coach, his methods are nothing new.

only difference between him and other good conditioning coach is that he gets media coverage.
