In the main event, undefeated southpaw Zon - who is currently 9-0-1 (7) although neither BoxRec nor Tapology has updated his record since he knocked out Odiljon Aslonov last week - replaces countryman Sharabutdin Ataev on a few days' notice.

edit: both sites have actually now updated Zon's record. They hadn't as of yesterday when I wrote that draft. Five days lag.

Weljon Sandag "Triggerman" Mindoro is 13-0-1. All thirteen victories have come by KO. The draw was against Takeshi Inoue. Vaulted over the ropes "a`la Eubanks Sr. and Jr. and Prince Naseem", per the pxp commentator.

"Cama" is a decade older with loads more experience, at 29-8-1. He's on a decent domestic run in Australia, including a blitz over the venerable Sam Soliman for whatever that is worth now. Never been stopped, Camilleri.

 

Mindoro's power appears to be very real - and bilateral. Threw a shotgun blast of a left jab that wobbled Camilleri, and moments later a straight right on the body made the Aussie immediately hold.

 

Camilleri dancing around, pot-shotting, then jumping in to make it a dirty physical clinch-fight. Mindoro clearly would prefer to size him up and tee off at mid-range and isn't getting to.

 

This fight is crazy. Camilleri went to war, won the third...now has been out on his feet for most of the fourth, given a standing eight count in the corner and then knocked down legit.

Finally a white towel in as he's about to be battered down a third time. Cama's mad but he was taking an absolute pasting.

 

Anybody heard of Triggerman before?
