Robinson can keep the pace. Henry doesn't have the tools to beat him.

well i believe they fought once and srr won that one (though armstrong being a little past prime).
if srr stays away from armstrong he'll outbox him and wins a close UD but i wouldn't bet any money on the outcome

I think I can answer that question.
I saw a past peak Armstrong being "toyed " with by Young Ray Robinson at MSG. Ray did not want to hurt Henry and all of us sensed it. Henry Armstrong was still good enough to beat many top fighters afterwards, but Robbie absolutely played with him...At their peaks Robinson would beat Armstrong easily. Too Tall, too sharp a puncher for the much smaller
    Homicide Hank IMO...

Hank himself was emphatic after their 1943 match that there was no way he could have beaten Ray even if at his very best. Tack onto that the fact that the then 22 year old Robinson was still improving, and it's a hard case to make for Armstrong.

I like Ray by late stoppage. Henry will make him work, but Robinson will make him pay.
