All the other shows at the end of the year did pretty well too apparently-

In the US they're happy when they do 1.3M with much more citizens :!:

Difference between free to air fights, and premium channel or PPV.
Bring back boxing to the people!

Probably more do to Ioka than Rigondeaux. What did Ioka's previous fights do? I've seen Koki Kameda get four times that in recent history. Still no idea what kind of money Japanese fighters are making for these cable fights, although I heard that Rigo got 500k. I think his career high purse was 750k to fight Donaire.

Was intrigue in both fight but Ioka fight get more critical view as he fight against not very good fighter.

Inoue get good figure, prove he big draw and he have fight televised in Argentina where more million watch and YouTube of his fight get watched a lot. Monster is now monster star!

And think about everyone else who suffered for hours trying to find a stream. Rigo's drawing power isn't as bad as many say, he got Donaire his career high pay day.

I was not among them! (sleeping until the 7th round; had already gotten up super early for Inoue vs. Narvaez the day before)

You wouldn't have counted anyway given that you'd not have had your viewing recorded by the Japanese agency >_>
    <_<

Which brings us to the other questions, just HOW MANY did see it illegally? Niji TV CRASHED on TBS during the fight and made many miss it, KHTV was impossible to register for during the fight...

Yeah I couldn't find any possible way to watch it, had to follow twitter updates and watch the 4 round video's that were uploaded throughout the fight. Crazy how it was possibly Rigondeaux's most exciting Pro fight and it was almost impossible for us to watch live

It was an entertaining fight. The commentators and crowd definitely added to the excitement. Rigo should be on HBO
