I dont see Admaek getting much heavier to be honest. I think hes maxed out as he is. I dont think its going to aid his performance much if he comes in 15lbs heavier. Unless its solid muscle and no extra fat his speed will suffer. I still think he has too much ability for Arreola and in his only loss by Chad Dawson he still managed to knock him down and would have probably figured his elusive style out if it went another few rounds. I think Haye Adamek would be some fight with maybe Haye late round stoppage!
The fight against Arreola is no time to experiment with weight changes. Adamek said he will likely weigh in at 220 for his next fight after the Estrada fight, and I trust that's what will happen. I hope.
All of it against journeyman material - Minto, Walker and McCline are his best wins. He did nothing against Vitali but survive. Why is Arreola so highly regarded?
If Arreola isn't going to get down to 235 in the biggest fight of his life against Klitschko he's not going to do it against Adamek.
LOL, but if he's smart maybe he will because if he loses to Adamek where is he going with his career? Certainly not to CW.
Adamek would beat the **** out of Arreola, Arreola can't fight period, I feel very comfortable saying this after watching with Minto.
If Arreola, by some miracle of God, actually does come down to 235, then I'd actually pick him to beat Adamek. IF Tomas was getting walked down by a light-punching boxer, imagine what will happen to him when a heavy-handed brawler is in his face. I also think they're taking the wrong route with Adamek. He should be more focused on coming into the ring around 215, but solid, instead of trying to gain a bunch of weight which will only slow him down and make him tired.
He's highly regarded? Most around here think he's a fat slob. I think he was just stating the truth: Chris has legit power. Just because they're pointing that out doesn't mean they're Arreola fans. And Adamek hasn't been hit by a real heavyweight puncher yet (Golota used to be a bruiser, but he's beyond shot now, so that doesn't really count), which makes this a really intriguing mathcup.
