Good post. You know your stuff. Meat and cheese and the vegetables in that huge burger have very few carbs. The bread part is the weight gainer. Lose the bread and that meal of cheese, veggies and meat is very low in carbs. Combine that with physical exercise and you lose weight. I did and lost 29lbs. It's essentially the low-carb Atkin's diet.

 

Adamek is too small for Arreola, but I still give him a very good chance, about 50/50.

 

I think it comes down to Adamek's stamina and conditioning. It's a good sign he was lighter than his last fight. He went the full 12 against Estrada but was shipping a number of shots by the end that he can't afford to do against Arreola you'd think.

If he can keep busy and keep mobile, he can embarrass Arreola in there.

 

I hope he pastes the **** out of Arreola and he ends up crying again.

It's a ****ing mockery to the sport that he turns up in this kind of shape.

 

Why does Arreola have a tattoo of Adamek on his left arm???

 

I hope Adamek gets KTFO so you queers will stop talking about physique like as if Chris is the only hefty HW in history. (Let's not talk about Povetkin and **** even though that ****er is a pudgy *****)

Compare photos from his previous fight to now and Chris barely has a gut anymore and his abs are actually sticking out a bit. He looks less tubby yet still weighs 250. You ***gots are aware that muscle DOES weigh more than fat?

Not every HW is going to look like bodybuilders and ****.

Weight loss of this magnitude takes time and I think gradually if Chris keeps winning we'll see the 229 version again.

I get it. You guys give him **** because you want him to be all he can be and you know he can be more if he just lost the weight. Well who knows maybe this is his first step into doing that.

 

But honestly speaking he doesnt look that fat! looks soft and in need of cutting some fat, but he actually surprised me. He's not 250 lbs of whale blubber this time, he's actually carrying some muscle bulk, and has probably shed a few lbs of fat. Well best shape I have seen Chris in for a while now.

I have to agree. This isnt a beauty contest, its a boxing match. Not everyone is blessed with a lean cut physique. Can Arreola come in better shape? Im sure he can, but that dosent mean the man isnt in good shape simple by how he looks. Look at the Klitchko fight. He never stopped coming forward and never looked really tired (despite the ass whipping he was getting). He dont look pretty, but he can fight hard throughout a fight. Hes proven that, and as long as u can do that, does it really matter what u look like?

But ya, that all being said, I would love to see Arreola at about 235

Good points, but for me, it's not so much the fat hampering his stamina, or ability to throw, but being a little too heavy on the feet when it comes to defense. The extra weight will give him good momentum to throw, but what about when he needs to slip. He didnt show good movement in a defensive sense, against Vitali. I just feel if he comes in lighter he will be more nimble and able to get out of the way quicker when his opponant throws shots.

Thats why I feel he is selling himself a little short. Thing is now he will more or less be a stationary target, he just has too much weight to carry around and it will hurt his speed, not hand speed but foot speed, and upper body, lateral movement.

It seems as though he is improving, but at this point, I think Adamek is all wrong for him. A Crusier moving up will always carry a speed advantage, and now even with his size, Adamek has filled out. I think Adamek will be just that bit quicker, and have enough power to give Chris problems. I mean, you never know in this game, Arreola could also land a lights out punch and end it, who knows eh? lets sit back and enjoy it!
