Arreola-Adamek: How Does The Brit Forum See This Humdinger Going?

Its an example of him not throwing enough though, he's by no means a bad boxer it's just he does himself no favours carrying needless weight.

 

Im going with Arreola.

Im not that impressed with Adamek at heavyweight. I dont think he deserves massive credit for beating a very over the hill Golota and if you saw the Estrada fight, you'll notice he was very easily hit.

I think it'll be a late rounds stoppage for Mr Blobby.

 

I think Adamek will box clever all night stay out of his way make him chase him. Arreola's only strength is his power no point in playing into his hands let fatboy do all the work

Adamek doesn't have the power to make Arreola really respect him, in amongst all the stuff that's said about Arreola his chin is really overlooked. He took a right pasting off Vitali and lasted much longer than most would. His conditioning is also better than many make out, as is his mobility.

Better chin, better power and not giving away much in stamina or mobility makes Arreola a clear cut winner for me.

 

I'm still giving a slight edge to Arreola, but really slight. I think this fight has serious potential for FOTY, its class it's on the same night as Froch-Kessler.

 

Adamek on points. Faster and more skilled.

 

Although I agree in part, I believe speed will be the bigger difference. If Arreola is slow, and lacking mobility, he may get picked apart.

 

Adamek should win. He at least has pedigree at cruiserweight, whereas Arreola has been in no danger of defeating a top 30 opponent during his career. It won't say an awful lot, but Adamek should win easily on points.

Would've been better if Arreola hadn't turned up carrying that useless flab again, if he'd been late-230s I'd have given him a big chance.

Now, I think it depends on Adamek's stamina and fitness. He went the full 12 against Estrada but shipped several whacks in the last three rounds doing so, can't think that would be a good idea against a hitter like Arreola.

But if his conditioning is fine, he can matador Arreola all night long for an easy points victory.
If not, if he tires or if he's dragged into a brawl, Arreola can knock his block off.

Decision time, okay. Well. Alright, even with the excess weight, I pick Arreola by late stoppage.

 

I'm going with Arreola mid round tko. Too big and punches too hard and Adamek is not as quick and slick as some are making him out to be. I can see Arreola coming in at under 240 which for him is good shape!

Adamek is hittable to a degree but can remain fairly cute when he wants to. Can't see Arreola dragging him into a war as easy as some predict, Arreola can bang, but who has he stopped???

Interesting fight though, Adamek doesn't do things by half measures it seems.
