[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_tFxICqSRDQ&feature=player_embedded[/ame] Arreola: “I’m sure Adamek will come prepared to beat me, but it’s not gonna happen. A win over Adamek would get me a step closer to fighting for a world title again, which I am looking forward to doing in 2010. But first, April 24th. I think I will have to be 240 pounds, 245 max, because I don’t believe he will want to exchange punches with me and it looks like I will have to chase him around the ring.” Adamek: “I will not run from Arreola. I will be easy to find in the ring, if he wants to find me. Why should I exchange punches with Chris, when I can make him miss, and then hit him? Whatever works for me on that day I will do. I think in the ring I will change tactics, I’ll see what gives me the greatest advantage during the fight.”
I think this is a bad fight for Adamek. If Arreola can stand up to Vitali's punches for almost 12 rounds then I don't Adamek has the ability to really hurt him.
Vitali never really threw anything hard. He really just slapped the **** out of Arreola, he never had his feet set when he threw. I think Adamek does have the power to stop and hurt Arreola.
aaaaagggh.... im already nervous now. I like both these guys.... i do. Sucks one of them has to lose, i gotta root for Adamek.... but im just not sure he can overcome the big guy.
Someone tell that Arreola, his face looked like a smashed ******* after that fight. Adamek has a chance but he has to really box and use his quickness. If he trys to trade with Arreola even once I think it could be lights out.
Well, yea because Vitali hit him about 800 times, but no really hayemaker type punches. It's kind of like the Calzaghe-Lacy fight, Lacy's head swelled up a couple of sizes, but Calzaghe never hammered Lacy with any type of real power. This will be a hell of a fight though. It might end up being FOTY.
