Arreola hype just refuses to die. It's like a pudgy, durable zombie.

    Yes, that's true.

Helenius would be a great warm up for Wlad. They both have the "European style", are similar in height, etc.. How do you think Eddie would fare against Robert Helenius?

Denis Boytsov may be fighting in the US soon (rumors of April). I don't know what Eddie could gain by fighting him. He's nothing like K2 and supposedly has KO power. The last thing Eddie needs to get derailed with a KO loss.

Adamek...if Eddie could somehow beat or make a great fight with Adamek, that would give him a lot of press and gain him a lot of respect. Think he has any chance against Adamek?

  3. chambers has a chance but i dont think so and haye would easily beat arreola hes too fat and slow

I'd like to see how Haye does against a truly decent technician in his prime like Chambers. Eddie is also fairly proven against big men. I might give him the edge in taking a decision win.

Helenius looks a lot like Dimitrenko too me, I think Eddie would get a pts win atm,

A Boytsov fight would really be the first big test for Boytsov, a bigger fight for Europe than the US,

Against Adamek, I would favor Adamek because Chambers has been off for so long, but would be a nice fight.

Chambers is skilled enough to be worthy of another titleshot, probably. Arreola will be beaten the first time he faces a top ten opponent.

Chambers has MUCH more promise than Arreola.

To a degree, there's not much to define for either guy. Chambers is what he is: a good HW in this era who cannot hang w/ K2 mostly due to size, power, foot speed etc. Arreola will likely never significantly improve his conditioning and approach to the game, so he's already defined too. That said, Arreola if somehow newly dedicated and maybe a better trainer could improve alot imo but that'll likely never happen.

    Agreed,

One of them has the skill, speed and dedication to training, but not the size and the power to hang in there with the best around, while the other has the whole thing in reverse.. There just isn't anyone out there right now with the complete package to make a huge impact...

Arreola is a b level contender in my opinion. Looks good against mediocre opposition, but gets found out at the top level. Chamber's is a very good contender, despite his physical limitations. But is more than capable than beating a lot of top contender's. If the both were to fight, i'm sure Chamber's would beat Arreola like Adamek did....

Yup and as long as Arreola still gets FNF fights and the occassional bigger fight, he'll probably be content to stay the same (at least until he's about 35 and than it'll b too late)
