He announced not long ago that he split from his trainer and is looking for another who can help him get better
I think Wilder was saying he's ready for the winner of this Arreola v Mitchell fight..but after seeing it I think he or his handlers/protectors will avoid the nipple man like the plague. If he does take this fight then fair play to the man - he's serious about stepping up for real...and its already long overdue. I think Arreola will win...but Wilders power is undeniable and so he can never be discounted against anyone. But if Wilder doesn't get the usual effect of his opponent folding on he first big shots he lands...then we see him in unknown territory and it will be interesting. I do think he has a mitchell style chin in there. Arreola isn't exactly Mike Tyson with his defensive head movement skills...but he is coming forward throwing bombs back at ya all the time and is durable.
What on earth has Wilder done to make people think he's remotely ready to step up to Arreola's level? Harrison and Liakovich are by far the biggest tests that he's had to date, and they were both beyond shot. Usually when a fighter has been protected for as long as Wilder has, there's a reason. Seth Mitchell had fought far tougher fighters than anything Wilder's seen to date. Witherspoon and Banks would be massive step ups for Deontay. Him calling out Arreola is nothing more than a little dog barking at a car.
if a fat 40 year old redneck could knock wilder down im sure areolla could you ****ing morons. and dont say it was 10 years ago because it was about 3 years ago. Wilder is overhyped, protected, glass jawed fraud, who is only popular on here because he is black and american. I can't wait for him to get KTFO, cos trust me boyos, he will.
At this point... Arreola tko2 Wilder If the fight actually happened, I would be watching with excitement no doubt :bbb
Don't believe people are buying the Wilder hype, Arreola murders Wilder in the first round, as soon as the first meaningful punch lands on Wilder he'll be on ***** street, you'll see.
Luckily, the only "real boxers" in the HW division are two massive white boys from the Ukraine and Chris ain't on their radar. Chis can box......he just lacks discipline, but Chris is a better boxer than most HW's. Adamek is also a very good boxer. He's just not really a big guy in the division.
I predicted Arreola would easily KO Mitchell. Once again, KOtards get too happy with the KO and Chris is now some elite HW? He's NOT. Mitchell was just that bad. Wilder hasn't proven he's elite neither but I would give Wilder equal if not better chance to win should Wilder and Arreola fight. Wilder can box proving that in the Olympics. More importantly, Wilder can bang and Arreola's static head defense is made for Wilder.
That would be a good fight but I doubt Golden Boy would be eager to make it. Wilder fights only lifeless fighters.
Arreola is defo on Wlads radar. Arreola is down now due to his loss to Stiverne, but before that fight Wlad was offering him MSG, LV, and legit $$$$$ to make a fight. Arreola was busy playing the "waiting on Vitali to retire" game. He passed up multiple offers to fight Wlad while he was winning. If Wilder vs Arreola comes off, Nipples had better take the fight with Wlad and get his little 750K and be happy, b/c it will likely be his last huge payday.:think
Vit is looking at retirement and Wald vs Chris at this point would be another replay of Vit vs Chris. I'm sure you're accurate with what you said. That Wald was looking at Chris but it was more about his durability than his ability to test him as the HW champion. I agree that Chris better that fight with Wald......but waiting isnt a bad thing. Wald is getting older. He might lose a step allowing Chris to increase his chances at toppling Waldimir. If chris beats any Klitchko it would be Wald who can be KO with the right shot.
