Kind of agree, but Chris may have better boxing skills than Peter. Both would need to lose 20 lbs. to be taken seriously again. Both need to wake up and start getting into boxing shape. Peter, an outrageous 253,Arreola 254, is unacceptable. . Both at 230 lbs. could be faster and pretty tough to knockout. They may still lose on points, though. Arreola-Peter woulld be a great for boxing right now..
Just seen fattys fight, what a joke. Why anyone would come into a fight in that sort of shape is beyond me. Sooner rather than later fatty will get beaten bad and i hope he does for being such a lazy prat. If he lost 20 pounds, he may be an ok fighter but come on the guys a joke right now.
I finally buy it even tho it's hard for me to admit cause he's so ugly - Arreola is the badest motha above 200 lbs... If you can't keep a man down, you're going down and he's on his way up, most definitely.
Of the two Walker has far more potential. If he learns to work behind the jab, pace himself, and not go wild at the prospect of a KO he can go way further than Arreola. There was no reason why Walker lost that fight last night and shame on that man's corner for not telling him to slow down and pace himself as he came laboring back to the corner with his mouth agape after throwing 106 punches in the first round by compustat's account.
I was definitely entertaining, but then so are Toughman and FNF specials. Some people feel that a great boxer is one that gets up from a knockdown to win a fight. I always say - don't get knocked down in the first place. Arreola seems a bit of a catcher. If he thought Walker 'freaking hits hard', the top guys in the division are going to give him a nastier shock.
Arreola as an amateur fought at light heavy. Right now he`s a fat out of shape caveman with very little skill. Anyone of the Klitchko`s will turn him into a punchbag.
Walker is soooo amateurish and telepgraphed its not even funny. I honestly didnt know what i was watching in there. But it looked like 2 rookies who were making there debuts. Walker had as much fluidity as a dry river and Arreola just looked like fat wild pastry.
Walker's a big guy w/fast hands. Those shots would sting anybody. Arreola is what this division needs. Non stop action and entertainment not jab and grab.
he is like the fatter, slower version of Sam Peter. Bring Peter vs Arreola, it will be entertaining for as long as it lasts.
Entertaining fight...Arreola looks **** though. Slow as ****, easy to hit, wide when he attacks.... But fun fight to watch. It seemed a little like Walker lost his focus when the second round was paused to put his mouth piece back in. Up until then he was working off the jab well enough and then the break in action seemed to change it....he kind of wandered back into the fight and got caught almost right away. Nice hook from Arreola to finish it.
that was my first time seeing Arreola, and with his inactivity and knockdown in the first round i thought he was just a hype job. But way to come back on the second. I agree he is not ready for top heavys, he should condition better.
