I have said it before and I will say it again Arreola is a hype job and not a serious title contender. Even if the Klitschko's retire he would be very lucky to pick up a title. He's already lost to a good but still a former light heavy in Adamek. If he can't beat guys who are a level below the Klitschko's it will take some luck and some very good match making to see Arreola pick up a title after the Klitschko's retire. Who has Arreola beaten that is even genuine world class? Chazz witherspoon? McCline who came out of retirement for a payday? He has only beaten journeymen, club fighters, an untested prospect and a retired former contender. He's beaten nobody I would regard as even being top 10. Hell even Eric "Butterbean" Esch looked good fighting nobodies. Whenever Arreola as gone up a level he's been exposed as being nothing more than a hype job. His punch technique is decent, but he is crude, a plodder and easy to hit and very predictable.
You dont even know what a club fighter is shithead, dont use cliche terms when you have no idea what they are.
I know what a club fighter is. It was meant to be an insult to stupid slow ****. Don't take everything literally.
Klitchko fans have made it clear that arreola is a top contender, so have the Adamek fans... I wonder why?
At this time,Arreola is a slightly better than a gatekeeper, with a lot of upside, but he has to produce in the next 24-36 months or his window will close . He has good power, good chin, decent hand speed and a colorful personality. If he had a better trainer who would demand that he keep his weight below 240lbs. year round he could probably pick up a alphabet title. Arreola is the kind of guy that needs to view boxing as his 9 to 5 year round, right now he trains for 6 weeks, fights blows back up to 300, takes 3-6 months off, trains 6 weeks, fights, repeat cycle. With some more dedication he could definitely win a title. He's way better than a club fighter.
I don't get why you or anyone would hate on someone like Arreola. He took on Vitali even though he didn't have enough experience, fights his heart out and tries to entertain in every fight and is a great friendly person out of the ring.
