The guy sheds a few tears after a hard fight with one of the best heavies out there. A fight in which he gave his absolute best and all people want to do is take the **** out of him?

Most people who slag fighters off like this are either stupid or insecure little ****s trying to sound tough.

How come its ok to hate on boxers like Floyd or Tyson, but Arreola you cant? He cried, he got beaten up, it was funny-thats all. Everyone is such a boxing aficinado and purist and there can be nothing said that questions a fighters inability to control their emotions-BS! The one thing I do give Arreola credit for is making the fight entertaining as he said it would be...even though the entertainment came after the match was called. Look, you dont have to agree. Think and accept Arreolas crying as however you choose. I chose to look at it as funny. And last I checked, a REAL MEXICAN figher, JMM, wasnt crying in the ring after getting beaten up by Floyd, or when he was robbed of a decision vs Pac.

Exactly. **** like this pisses me off. Most of these pseudo tough guys would probably wet themselves if they had to face Vitali in the ring. They give boxing fans a bad name.

There's no question about that. The Klitschkos are both held to ridiculous standards by some fans, who POUNCE on any little thing they can criticize. They already do, as your example of the Byrd fight illustrates. Vitali has already proven himself plenty tough since that time, and I have little doubt if he knew the repercussions, he would have hung in there despite the pain. The European mentality about corner retirement tends to be more forgiving, and that's the tradition into which he was socialized. But some of these "boxing fans" can't - or won't - grasp that. Similarly, these kind of people can't grasp that a boxer could care enough about losing to cry. Maybe someday they'll grow up.

I felt bad for him, it maybe his only chance of winning a world title. It's hard to criticize the guy's reaction, for having his life long dream shattered...

I know other fighters have cried, not saying that hasnt happened. Just saying Chris is a cry-baby in my opinion and I thought it was funny. I guess its not PC to say I thought it was funny and to call him cry baby. People call boxers all sorts of name for all sorts of reasons. This guy just said JMM was bitching like a female. How is that any different then saying Arreola cried like a baby = crybaby?? Double standard. Like how people decided when it is and isnt appropriate to name call and laugh about different situations.

    Typical keyboard warriors.

Dude felt like he just let down his family, his country, his friends, everyone. He was pissed he wasn't allowed to finish the fight. Dude tried hard last night, but he couldn't do ****.

The fight didn't go anything like I thought it would.. I thought Chris had a weak chin, and I thought he'd get caught early and then TKO'd.. but I thought Chris would be able to get off.. he wasn't able too, and that was the surprise, this is a guy who punches in combos and throws shots like a smaller guy.. and he couldn't get off.

Correction: Arreola never had a chance against either K brother. Thats why he cried so much, because he actually thought he could beat them. Which is why it makes it even more laughable, since the guy went into the fight with no jab, one-game plan, and one punch--and he thought he was going to beat one of the best heavyweights of the last 10 years....right.

exactly jmm has been bitching for over 3years about the first pac fight like a female...waa...waaa....arreola didnt fold like sam peter and gomez and he got hit with more vicious shots then both fighters combined...arreola showed emotions cuz the ref stopped the fight and he wanted to continue...i have never been a fan of arreola but last night he won me over .....he will be champ one day(when vitali retires)

he wasnt even supposed to fight any klitshko until next year because his team felt he was not ready and he said so himself...watch his last fight....money talks and chris got a good payday compared to what he would have got fighting someone like kingpin johnson...he just let his ppl down but got richer in the process...tears of million dollar joy compared to 100.000 for johnson

Everyone was so nutthuggin on Arreola to be the "American" to get a hold of the division once again, thats why everyone is so butt-hurt and defensive about making fun of him. U.S. fans need to accept and embrace the K bros for what they are: the best heavyweights out there and may go down in history as the most dominant when all is said and done. Im an american and have no problem accepting them and wanted them to continue to dominate. No one cares when boxers in any other division are from different countries but for some reaon everyone believes the heavyweight champ of the world has to be an American. Lewis somewhat broke that down, but still never got the kudos he truly deserved. Arreola was just another fighter to Vitali and should have been to everyone else. Too many got caught up in his Tyson-like fight style and high KO percentage. If they ever had asked themselves who has this guy really fought and can he really box, they would definitely not have thought he would do anything but cry like a baby after realizing he was completely outclassed.
