I can't recall Arreola ever being gassed in a fight. And that is all it really comes down to, your ability to throw a big punch and take a big punch, and NOT PICTURES. McCline is the guy that should have come in shape, because he needed that, but now he is gonna get floored and Ko'd by Arreola. Can't wait to see it too. You guys are making too much out of the weigh in pictures. Did you ever see Ali versus Wepner? All I want to see is a good KO. That's what Hw boxing is all about. Not thinking about weigh in pictures and looking at guy's bodies before the fight. You guys need to quit looking at stuff like that and talking about it, because of the way you guys are so gullible and impressionable when it comes to boxing and other things...you never know, it might mess all of you guys up.
i was actually looking forward to this fight, now im not arreola could lose this he looks terrible once again, damn can he not lay off the tacos
Mccline despite being heavy usually is in somewhat good shape, kinda like Shannon Briggs. This time he is in the worst shape I have seen him ever.
Yes, McCline must have omitted the weight and strength training. He is no longer powerful looking through the shoulders. Looks like all his weight has slid down to his gut. I still think he'll take Arreola, out, though, even in this poor shape.
He'll have to do it early. Arreola is accustomed to fighting fat, McCline is usually in shape; so, advantage Nightmare...:nut
Mcline was basically retired from boxing when he got his call... and he's still in better shape than Arreola!!! What's with this f---ing guy? Every fight he promises to get in shape, and he just keeps packing on the blubber! WTF? He should be 235... TOPS! I know this ain't a body-building show... BUT anybody who thinks that extra 20lbs of flab is'nt a problem don't know **** about boxing!
Has anyone watched the 2 minute preview of Arreola they have on HBO on Demand where he talks about wanting to be the first Mexican-American Heavyweight champ? There's a slow motion montage of him hitting the heavy bag, and his stomach and arms jiggle like crazy when he makes contact. Quite depressing for a young guy who's close to his opportunity.
I'm fairly confident Mr. Mills, our janitor, could've taken these two out...and he was a 95 pounder. He and Mr. Hurt had some hellacious broom races at halftimes at our basketball games.
I think both fighters could have looked better. It is really frustrating because I was hoping that McCline would be a good test for Arreola.
What an absolute discrace. How can 2 top athletes come into a fight AFTER training camp looking like that? Where are these guys teams pushing them to get into shape? I just dont get it:huh
He's never going to look good and he's probably 5-8 lbs overweight. He's taller than Peter- 6'4. At 254, against Walker his weight wasn't much of a factor. He was just surprised and unprepared. I'm changing my UD prediction...I think he TKO's McCline in 7.:bart
