Fellas, I recently obtained a copy of last years "Arreola-Minto" fight off of HBO. Jesus, Chris Arreola looked a slob at 263 pounds, but he was strong and powerful overall.. Poor Brian Minto, he is stocky and bullish, but in no way is he a true heavyweight... But he was game and gave a good account of himself and provided some work for Arreola... Honestly, I loved the fight--while it lasted.... Arreola KO4 Minto... Good stuff....... :good:hey:happy MR.BILL:hat
This was such a size mismatch, really pissed me off. In p4p terms Minto destroys Arreola, there was just too much of the big oaf.
It was sloppy and gross, but very entertaining.... I liked it..... Minto NEEDS to slim down to 200 pounds and go from there.......... At 220, Minto will be fodder for all young heavies looking to pad their resume....... Arreola is a burrito / taco eating slob with a Corona Extra.... He'll never be champ.......... MR.BILL
i think minto-maddalone 1 was a classic club fight. arreola's actually a decently skilled heavyweight with a lot of power. minto showed a lot of heart in that fight though and made it really fun to watch.
Never say never, my man. K bros and Haye get caught in a tornado together while doing a press conference and boom, Arreola could pick up all four belts within the year. I mean, I hope that doesn't happen but yeah, it's possible.
Yeah, Arreola is a more skilled boxer than Minto. Actually if you don't focus on fitness criticisms and the fact that he has only offense as his main defense and just look at him offensively, he's got real boxing talent. He throws good combos, he picks good spots, he knows what he's doing. I think he gets underrated a bit after looking inept against Vitali. More enjoyable for people to say Arreola sucks than Vitali is good enough to embarrass a good heavyweight prospect.
Arreola needs to get to 240 to 245 pounds and hang in that zone for a while.... His weight is way outta whack....... 263 is gross looking on Arreola....... MR.BILL
