One does not exclude the other. I care a **** if you put me on your ignore list mate. You clearly not getting the point in here. Thanks for confirming it. Bye.
Oh please. Spare us the sanctimonious bs and stop with this belief that it's a sacrilege to call a fighter a coward. If a professional fighter refuses to do their job which is to fight, out of fear, then that is exactly what they are. Like the saying goes, if the shoes fit... I will call a spade a spade. Get over it. And I'm quite confident I've been in the ring and taken part in more combat sports than most on here. A fat piggy like you would probably have a stroke if you did some of the workouts I do. As for comics and living in basements, sure I do.
as has been said wilder hurt his bicep and was a 1 armed fighter v arreola arreola never faced wilders true power vitali was more a thudding puncher / wlad had a lot more snap and power IMO but vitali had a rock solid chin and it allowed him to stand and tade IMO wilder hits harder than vitali
It was well known Arroela was not dedicated around the time he fought Vitali , living on beer and burritos between fights and not living the life of a professional fighter. It was when Arroela fought Stiverne that he developed some discipline , hired a S&C coach and finally began to take his career seriously. He may not have been at his best when he fought Wilder but he was primed out , fitter and in better shape when he fought Stiverne than when he fought Vitali. Vitali fought a fast food munching , beer guzzeling slob and still didn't perform any better than Beramne Stiverne did .LOLOL!!! Vitali made him cry , Bermane shattered facial bones and beat the prime clean out of him. always liked chris. I didnt think it was all that lame or stupid or whatever to cry after the vitali fight. hate to play the 'if any of u have boxed' card ...but it can be emotional. even bull**** sparring when the whole gym is watching. let alone scheduled fights u trained for for weeks or months.
I suspect Wilder has more knockout power at the end of his punch, but less heavy handedness overall. Meaning, if he catches you at the end of his shot you're going down, but his other shots aren't going to cause as much cumulative damage as Vitali's arm punches bludgeoning away at you round after round. Two different tactics needed to fight them: stay the hell away from Wilder's right hand getting full extension for twelve rounds, and reduce Vitali's connect rate (through offence or defence) while winning rounds of your own. Second one seems a lot more difficult to achieve, though the first is more likely to result in you being on the end of a highlight reel knockout vid.
I think what Arreola is saying only highlights the difference between thudding heavy handed power and explosive fast power. You get heavy handed guys like Foreman, Vitali, when they hit you, they deliver a punch with more raw force and it hurts more, but they are slow and so you have time to brace for impact, doesn't mean you don't feel the force of it, but you won't get caught by a shot you won't see coming very often. Then you have guys like Wilder, Mike Tyson, the sheer force and weight behind their shots is less, as they obviously weigh less and their punches may not hurt as much, but having said that they deliver the power they have with tremendous speed, they catch you with a shot you don't see coming, they spin your head round faster with their punches due to the speed of their shots and that discombobulates you more than the slower heavy handed punches. So when you get hit by these guys you don't feel the power as much but they are far more likely to spark you clean out with one shot or in Tyson's case usually a combination of shots. So yes I believe Arreola when he says Vitali's shots hurt more, but he'd always be more likely to be sparked out vs someone like Wilder, while Vitali will slowly and painfully bludgeon you down.
Leroy Caldwell who fought virtually everyone at heavyweight said, Foreman hit with thudding power, stunning shots. He said Shavers punch was like an explosion. That he hit far harder than Foreman.
