Tbh so do I. Wilder would be too long and active + has the power to fold Ruiz.

Wilders chin is better than Femi and Ortiz so unlikely Ruiz can stop him imo.

    Many people actually pick Andy?

    Of course

Wilder dominated every round against a better version of Arreola, and stopped him

Whereas Ruiz was knocked down early on and then labored to an unimpressive decision against an inactive shot version of Arreola

Makes sense. I think Ruiz is a live underdog but l don't see him beating Wilder.

Wildrer took a lot of shots of Fury and still continued and recovered & Ruiz does not as punch as hard Fury does. I just can't see Ruit winning against Wilder. He definately can't KO Wilder. I'm also not sure if Ruiz can take all of those bronze-bombs in a 12 rounder.

I honestly think Wilder is all wrong for Ruiz

At this time have to favour Wilder here in a brutal KO win over Ruiz, however let’s see how Wilder is in the Helenius fight and if the Fury losses have taken anything from him.

Will be interesting to see how Ruiz handles Wilders power.

Plenty of men have, Ruiz is built for it. He might even be able to break Wilder's hand with the top of his dome.

Wilders is fairly good at keeping opponents at bay, Ruiz will struggle and have to work all fight to get in range on Wilder. If Wilder's outboxing was just a little better he could win a decision quite easily but he relies on his power too much. There will be lots of quiet periods during the fight.

    Don't underestimate Ruiz.

If Wilder catches Ruiz with one of them TNT punches and Ruiz keels over then Fury will look like a demi god.

If Ruiz could actually get in somewhat ok shape instead of being a lazy SOB. He could give Wilder a good fight, but the Ruiz who looked like garbage vs Ortiz it won't be a contest.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem like Ruiz cares about getting in shape, despite reports awhile ago he was starting to slim down. Say what you want about Wilder, but atleast he keeps himself in good shape all year round. Which shows hes dedicated to boxing unlike Ruiz, even though Ruiz is more naturally talented than Wilder.

Ruiz has a slim chance. The heavyweight division has been a lot more exiting lately. Lots of good fights!

If Fat Andy can get inside and land with own shots he'll knock The Dosser out

But on paper, as with lead-footed scary east to hit giant penguin T-rex reach Stiverne and even lead-footed short reach scary easy to hit Ortiz to a lesser degree, he should be tailor made for someone of The Dosser's dimensions. But unlike those two he's a bit better defensively and he has a better chin than both.

Nah, too many people made a big deal about Fat Ruiz' win against AJ. Fat Ruiz landed a shot that shook AJ and he (AJ) never recovered. Ruiz is too short, fat, and not all that good to beat a tall fighter with power. Even with Windmill Wilder's flaws, he will beat Fat Ruiz. Windmill Wilder and AJ have completely different mindsets. Windmill Wilder by vicious KO.

Ruiz is one of the guys that Wilder could probably outbox if he wanted to. Andy has no footwork and Wilder is tall and can stay at range easily.

Anyone who even considers Ruiz is clueless. It’s a mismatch.

"even though Ruiz is more naturally talented than Wilder."

Clownish statement on its face, even more so considering that Ruiz has been boxing for a lot longer.

6'6, GOAT right hand, fast feet vs 5'11, light puncher, lead feet.

Wilder KO3 Morales, Ruiz 59-55 Morales
Wilder KO1 Liakhovich, Ruiz 98-92 Liakhovich
Wilder RTD8 Arreola, Ruiz 118-109 Arreola
Wilder KO10 and KO7 Ortiz, Ruiz 114-111 Ortiz

Ruiz "slimming down" would be suicidal, it's a Toney situation where he needs the mass to be effective with his sub-cruiser height/reach and lack of power.

43 year old, 2 KO defeat Ortiz just went 50-50 with Ruiz over 12 and Ruiz has performed far worse against all of their mutual opponents worth mentioning. If Wilder gets past Helenius and doesn't fight Usyk he will destroy Ruiz.
