I'm picking Stiverne to win, but you could definitly be right. If Arreola doesn't leave enough time for Stiverne to crank that left hook, he'll definitly win.

No i wouldn't and Walker is a huge puncher. We also saw Mitchell getting out boxed against Witherspoon who cannot box and get hurt against him even though he's feather fisted.

Fun fight. Arreola has needed to fight someone halfway decent for a while. I hope he wins, then takes the mic and says some crazy ****.

I like a possible Arreola-Stiverne fight and I'd like to see it happen. I'd make Arreola a favorite but Stiverne is a semi-live underdog in a fun fight.

It seems clear Arreola wants to grab a vacant belt if Vitali retires. He probably makes a few easy, but somewhat profitable, defenses before a possible Mitchell match up. I think Arreola beats Mitchell right now but in a years time its an even fight and the best action fight in the heavyweight division.

I find it funny that so many heavyweights will now try to win the WBC belt. Their like a pack of hyenas as waiting for Vitali's Elephant walk/retirement. I mean Arreola could have had a Wlad fight and instead he wants to take this path to his next title shot. Be funny if he beats Stiverne and then Vitali sticks around for 1 more fight, and batters him again, though i doubt that fight would ever happen again..

I'll say this though, it does make sense for all these HW's to try and be the first to win/claim the vacant title, since they'll know then, like Haye did vs. Valuev. That they'd then have a huge bargaining chip in a unification fight vs. Wladimir. There's no way Wladimir doesn't try to get that fight as soon as possible.

Someone grabbing the WBC belt to use as a bargaining tool would be a great idea, just like Haye did with the WBA belt. I just thought that Suliman made it clear he won't allow unification. I know he makes rules up as he goes along so anything is possible but I'm not sure a unification fight could even happen.

Walker is good if not for his chin and to some degree stamina we probably would have seen him fight one of the K bros already. Some ppl think he got robbed against Chagaev.

Arreola would beat him now and probably in years to come. Styles make fights and Chris is all wrong for Seth.

    I like Arreola against Stiverne.

Yea I remember reading that before. And if that's the case, it makes that belt holder and the belt itself lose stock. Unless the said belt holder was seeking a unification, but kept getting denied by the Org.

Wasn't it because they didn't want to lose money cross promoting/sanctioning fees with the other Orgs, and what would be the unified champ?

I think at the end of the day they will allow the unification. And then just promote the winner to Super Duper Champion, and make another "Regular/Diamond champion". Why not, then they can charge even more fee's.

    War Cris.

I'll be the first to admit that Cris underwhelmed his last time in the spotlight and deserves his detractors for showing up out of shape. But I've followed him for a while, have friends in common, and have seen him as recently as last month, and he seems to be taking his career seriously again.

It should be a fun fight to watch. Arreola's chin is pretty good--he wins this one by outworking Stiverne and maybe gets the KO if Stiverne has lost it.

Yeah, Suliman had no trouble saying he doesn't like unification because its less profitable. If the fight is big enough I see him bending his rules(again) to let it happen. Like you said, just make it an Emetius, Diamond, etc title and all is well.
