Can Chris beat Wilder, win a rematch with Stiverne and meet up
with Wlad in a year? Arreola would probably get battered and stopped
against Wlad regardless, but if Chris gets his act together in a year who
knows? Thoughts on Arreola fighting Wlad in a year, he needs to learn some defense.

He has said he isn't going to fool with Wilder and he wants a rematch with Stiverne for the right to fight Vitali.

I know GBP wanted the winner of Mitchell-Arreola to fight Wilder but that is out of their control if Arreloa doesn't want to do it. The WBC will look like this next month:

    #1. Stiverne
    #2. Arreola
#3. Mago (if he beats Perez)

There isn't really a reason for Arreola to fight Wilder who doesn't have a ranking worth a crap. To me it would be an easy payday though for Arreola I think he beats Wilder just like he did Mitchell.

Fight with Wlad probably not, but I have no doubt Sulaiman will manouver him in WBC title contention within a year.

Funny how fat a** arreola will face quick to face light punching jennings or rematch stiverne, but scared sh**less to fight Wilder. People cry out wilder needs to fight somebody, but he calls everybody out and all of a sudden they sign to fight other fighters. Wilder may have a shaky chin, but you will have to go through fire to shatter it and risk getting yours shattered in the process.

Areolla has a #2 ranking in the WBC and a path to a title shot. What in the hell does Wilder offer? There is no reason for Arreola to fight someone unless they are in the WBC top 3.

Wilder brings zilch to the table and it is his own damn fault for fighting all these stiffs since 2008. He should have stepped up a longtime ago.

Wilder called out Chris Areola, so this fight is the main test for Chris...to see if he is really improved or just the old Chris

Wilder is no Seth Mitchel, so Chris better find a way to train for the hyper sonic right hands Wilder loves to use :yep

yes wilder is calling arreola out, but arreola is doing everything to avoid it, if you watch his interviews he just wants stiverne and no real testing fight before this.

after witnessing wilders last fight, arreola has suddenly gone quiet on wilder, i remember before he was saying wilders only fighting bums, seems like hes more appreciative, i thnk he fears wilders power.

Wilder hands are much faster, his defensive skills are superior & offense is unstoppable...29-0 100% KOs 29 times

Chris or anybody who steps in the ring vs Wilder is polishing himself to be #30, because Wilder expresses himself best in hyper sonic right hands :deal

Thats the thing with boxing fans, (the ones who dislike/hate Wilder)

Wilder is calling out the fighter that KOed their Wilder placebo...Chris walks away & they just pretend it didn't happen :yep

Chris is smart, he knows Wilder is the real deal...Walking in the ring with Wilder is a guaranteed KO loss, why would Chris want that

I hope you're trolling or a straight up troll. Wilder hasn't fought anyone significant to prove any abilities really. You know there's a problem when ancient Liakovich, coming off two KO losses to boot, is a step-up.

It's not like that actually, although I'm not happy with Arreola refusing to fight Wilder. It's clear that Arreola wants a shot at the WBC title, and a fight with Wilder won't secure him that. He's looking for a Stiverne rematch, that's what everyone would do in his position.
Wilder, on the other hand, has been called by Solis' promoter recently and Wilder's management didn't respond. Solis is a top 10 heavyweight by the Ring at the moment and that's the fight Wilder needs at the moment. It's a huge risk indeed, but it's time Wilder takes such risk. I'm sure that many people would like to see Solis vs Wilder, the winner of that fight would be considered serious business in the division for sure.

Wilder vs. Arreola could be on the December 14th PPV. If enough money is offered, Arreola will take the fight.

I hope the WBC capitalizes on the current situation, declares Vitali champion in recess, awards Stiverne the interim-silver-diamond-whatever champion, and then orders him to defend against the winner of Haye vs Fury.

Then set up a mandatory eliminator between Arreola and Wilder or Arreola and the winner of Mago vs Perez.

After all is resolved Vitali can have his shot back at it.

That would be a tremendous way to put the WBC HW title back in contention.
