Yeah. Awesome. Don't give the opportunity to shine on national television to some up and comer who maybe takes the sport seriously.
On FNF they'll pair him with someone that will almost certainly be wrecked in 4 rounds or less. What is Arreola's incentive to get in shape for this?
I have no real hope for Arreola to ever be a great fighter whether he gets in shape or not. I'm sure he'd beat whoever they put him with and I'd watch him on FNF but I'd be shaking my head while I was.
Arreola is the next James Toney in the sense that people will be saying "If he gets in shape, stays motivated, he'll clean out the division etc." But hell, Arreola got a shot at VITALI KLITSCHKO and that was not enough incentive.
he has come to ruin the dreams of tony thompson and other friday night fight heavyweights should be fun.
I like Arreola and thought he could be a major contender for a few years but I've pretty much given up on him being a top heavyweight. He simply won't get in the shape he needs to. It hurt him against Adamek and if he can't get into shape to fight Vitaly or Adamek then I don't think there is any motivating him to do so. I don't expect him to look like Wlad but he really hurts himself coming in 20 pounds or more overweight. As for him being on ESPN, I like that. Unfortunately he'll probably beat up some no hoper but if he gets put in with a semi respectable opponent than he makes for enteretaining fights. Arreola-Guinn has ESPN main even written all over it.
arreola is to fat to be in the same ring with top 5.. there is no room for the opponent once he steps into that ring.. fkken fatso he is.. he was pathetic in his losses, he should do harakiri with his boxing career.. that would be good for boxing
