Exactly. Arreola kinda won me over as a fan, but this would actually be a terrible fight for him to take. Tua would destroy him. I frankly don't understand why his people would take it - and would be very surprised if they do.
Goossen just confirmed that Arreola will be returning december 5th but on Williams's undercard on HBO. So if Tua is fighting in Samoa/Australia/New Zealand it's obviously not gonna happen. http://twitter.com/stevemaxboxing/status/5072359665
This is a toss up, both guy's have power and can take a good punch, id go with Arreola, only because Tua has been inactive in recent years, and is getting up in age, **** he's been around forever, whats he about 40 now??, Arreola has the height and reach advantage also, Tua is short... iD go with Arreola by decision, hard to see Tua getting KNOCKED OUT...
now that pawlik-williams cancelled, bring in Tua & make that the show! Tua-Arreola - dec 5, hbo. williams on undercard.
if they fought tua and ibeabuchi could share a cell after david is put away for murder. the fattest, laziest version of tua (rahman 2) is held and shoulders above any version of arreola.
1) Tua is in far better shape for his body type than Arreola. 2) Tua is far shorter than Arreola 3) Tua can bang. Arreola is a mediocre puncher (in both execution and stopping power). 4) Tua has a decent jab, and actually has some defensive skill.
This fight would be straight up SICK.... would be a great matchup for the heavyweights, loser wouldnt fall too much (well, they might considering the damage they might take) but the winners stock becomes hot again.... lets make it happen
I like how you speak in ambiguous terms like the identity of "winner" and "loser" aren't blatantly obvious.
