This is what I'm saying , where has this reputation that Arreola is a killer puncher come from ??

Adamek will have to be smart but Adamek is a proven champion he is a level above Arreola skill wise.

Assuming Haye and Adamek both win I would almost rather see that fight over Wlad v Haye ( Almost !! )

yes Adamek is a small HW but so is Haye , so was Holy , so was Tyson , so was Frazier , so was Dempsey , etc etc

Size on its own counts for **** all !

The 86% KO ratio might have something to do with it.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think anyone thinks he's a prime Tyson or a young Foreman, but when you couple a blown-up cruiser with a dude who's been knocking-out mostly genuine heavies for his whole career, you can at least see where the perception comes from, whether you agree with it or not.

Adamek walks around well over 200 with no blubber. He's a heavyweight who was fighting in the wrong weight class. He's bigger, stronger and thicker than guys like Byrd and Chambers.

I've said to my bros and friends long ago that Adamek should move to heavy. Sure enough he did and he took out my man Golota. :?

Byrd fought at super middleweight in the amateurs. Arreola fought at light heavyweight in the amateurs. Chambers has the frame of a super middleweight if he hadn't been a fat kid growing up. They're not the best guys to compare to, because they're NOT natural heavyweights. Adamek is a natural large light heavyweight. At this point, he's put on a lot of additional mass, but without the added bulk, he's still essentially a cruiserweight (as opposed to someone like Haye, who was really a small heavyweight draining to make cruiser towards the end of his reign there).

Natural LHW? ... only after draining himself for a week.
CW is his natural class, now he looks a bit bulked with lots of fat at the stomach level.

Correction, Adamek is a small heavyweight. The only difference is that Haye can model for Calvin Klein, which means nothing in boxing.

This is true. Adamek is bigger guy than Evander Holyfield, who is considered as a small heavyweight. You may call Adamek both small heavy or cruiser.

Adamek and Haye are almost the same size. I can admit that there is a small edge to Haye, but its hardly visible.

Calling Adamek LHW is like calling Toney middleweight or Pacquiao super featherweight, because they fought there some time ago.

I'd call Adamek a cruiser, and a bit small.

    Adamek wins easily.
    Much faster.
    More skill and experience.
    A much superior athelete.

    Areola.
Too fat, too big, too slow.

You are right he is not a real heavyweight. Soon as he runs into a real heavyweight punch its lights out for Adumbak.

You may or may not be underestimating Arreola power but I think you are truly over estimating Adameks chin. Remember he has yet to get hit by a real heavyweight puncher. He's already been hurt by light heavyweights, what do you think someone like Wlad would do to him? Arrerola may not hit as hard as Wlad but he hits pretty damn hard and I believe he'll knock Adamek out. But if Adamek survives the first half of the fight then I agree with you, Adamek's conditioning could carry him for the rest of the fight and have him win UD. But I dont see this happening.
