Arreola can certainly knock Haye about if it gets toe-to-toe but Haye simply won't let that happen. Arreola will be walking through a hail of leather instead. Speed kills.
Co-sign....Hayematrix would put that fat ******* to sleep my fellow americans....dont by into the hype that HBO is pushing on you Arreola is not the real deal, he is not the truth.......the answer to our HW problems, is this man: This content is protected
No, not that David Haye, the one that is currently fighting. If you're basing your analysis on a belief that he is still the same fighter he was in his 11th pro fight, then clearly you're going to wind up with flawed conclusions.
I'd rather see Haye-Wlad. After that he can fight whoever he wants. A lot of people would be annoyed if Haye lost to anyone before the Klitschko's because that would mean the end of any Haye-Klitschko fight.
I don't think Haye or his team would make this fight. Arreola is fat and slow, but he's also tough and can hit with a lot of power, in combination. Haye is much faster and should win the fight, but if he got caught or got into a brawl like he did with Barrett, all the $$$ that could be made by fighting one of the Klitschkos is gone. Team Haye -- and the Klitschkos -- don't want that result. If Haye makes a fight between now and when he gets into the ring for a bout with either Wlad or Vitali, expect it to be another smallish and/or aged no-hoper like Barrett. This is not about developing David Haye in the ring. That's what sparring partners are for. This is about carefully crafting and maintaining the concept that Haye is some incredible HW force. He is not, but that isn't the point. The Euros think he is, and there is money to be made with the Klitschkos. Any bout that could seriously jeopardize a looming Haye-Klitschko fight would be a dumb one for Team Haye to take. There is risk in fighting a guy like Arreola. Probably not a ton of risk, but definitely more so than fighting another Barrett-type guy. For an outfit whose main goal now has to be to not screw up a looming megafight with one of the K Bros, I just don't think Arreola makes a lot of sense. The only way they make such a match is if they just think Arreola is crap and he wouldn't be a problem for David.
Haye is a well muscled, powerful soft man. Arreola is much tougher. I think Arreola would knock Haye out. This fight should be made. The winner will have earned a title shot.
:good Everyone is blinded by his golden man chest and bright smile... Both fighters stand a puncher's chance...it's a matter of who lights up who in the early rounds...but you know it's gonna be an early fight
Just because you hurt a fighter in the gym doesn't mean you "own" someone There's no point in carrying out a fight with someone in the gym if they hurt you...If they actually fought, Arreola would most likely gather himself collectively and turn up the volume in his bombs against Haye...making it a much more scarier fight than Haye thought it would be... They both stand a puncher's chance of winning the fight...
Thanks, friend. I think your posts on this subject are spot-on as well. :good Sparring isn't the same as a live fight. I certainly would favor Haye in this matchup if it happened because of the speed factor, but if Arreola caught Haye with some of the shots Chris put on Travis Walker last night it's bye-bye Matrix and his "Former SMW Lolenga Mock sent me to the canvas hard" chin. And bye-bye Klitschko $$$. As you said, this definitely looks like it would be an early-rounds stoppage one way or the other. I think Haye would win, but I don't believe he or his management wants to find out what would happen with so much money sitting on the table. If I were them, I wouldn't. Haye can fight Arreola later after he fights one or both of the Klitschkos. They're both young fighters and neither one seems to be going anywhere soon. I would love to see them fight now, but I don't think it's going to happen. And, as someone who is not a big Haye believer, I'm not that concerned that it is not likely to happen. Once Haye gets into the ring with either Klitschko, The Haye Myth will be put to rest once and for all. I rewatched the Barrett fight and Haye was worse than I thought he was when I first saw it. He was on the canvas three different times and everything Barrett landed hurt him. I thought David might have some realistic chance against Wlad but that's a pipe dream. Everyone understands what Vitali would do to Haye, and Wlad would do roughly the same thing if they fight. Haye has a very small chance to jump on Wlad and hurt him before Wlad gets his rhythm and methodically pounds Haye into submission. But for that, Haye will become Calvin Brock II or the next Chris Byrd against Wlad. The Klitschkos aren't concerned about Haye. They want him to be as marketable as possible so as to make them a good chunk of change when one or the other brother steps in the ring against the Hayemaker. The last thing they're hoping for now is that someone like Arreola takes out Haye and costs them a lot of $$$ for a Haye bout.
