Maybe because Peter just doesn't sound right. It's usually Jones, Roberts, Richards, Colins, Peters, etc.
I'd put my money on Peter. I know he's comin' off two losses and is psychologically suspect but his resume trumps Arreola's. On this one I'll go with HW ring experience over the young up and comer. Peter by TKO
It's a what if at this point. If Peter would have beaten Chambers, I could honestly see Arreola calling out Peter big time. Here's why, Peter would of been ranked in the top 5 with a win over Chambers, Arreola is currently a top 10 fighter. They both fought McCline, Peter had trouble with "Big Time", Arreola knocked him out pretty easily. Peter/Arreola would be a fans dream match-up, two heavy hitters that like to unload with their fire power in close quarters. If you watch both men, there always looking to engage with their oppenent even while hurt or tired. Peter never backed up once against McCline and continued to fire off shots while being severely rocked and down on the canvas. He also was eager to go for blow for blow with fellow heavy hitters Wlad and Maskaev. Arreola is the same way, even after Walker hurt and dropped him, he cotinued to come forward and pressure Travis and it paid off. All in all I wouldn't bet money on Peter to win, but if someone asked me who I thought would take it. I'm going with the guy with a more proven chin and power, which is Sam Peter.
"If you watch both men their always lookng to engage their opponents even while hurt or tired" Except when Peter quit on his stool against Vitali without an injury forcing him to do so. still, I'd pick Peter by TKO in this one :bbb
Vitali boxed him from a distance, using his superior jab and arm reach to his advantage. I think if Vitali would of stayed on the inside with Peter, I promise the fight would have been more interesting. At the end of the day it just wasn't Peter's night, and it probably didn't help he was just getting over the flu he caught in training camp. Oh well, **** happens.
Peter fought a in shape prepare Mccline while Arreola fought a wayb out of shape was just there for a pay day to retired in Mccline. Totally different.
Both of these guys suck beyond suck, neither of these guys knows anything about training or discipline; but, Peter seems to have lost the desire to box. He use to be enthusiastically crappy and now he's just crappy. Arreola still seems to want it.
Bit of a pickem fight, I'll take Arreola by late TKO - he'dhave to get up of the cavas to do it though.... Oh wait, are we talking about boxing or sumo here?
Peter is the least skilled fighter i have seen in a while. An old Vitali beat the crap out of him and Peter gave up. He has no heart and Chris would beat his ass.
