If Arreola scores the upset against Wilder (which I think has a better chance of happening than most), and the WBC mandates that the winner must face Povetkin...

    Who wins?

Why shouldn't Arreola get some get some hotdog defenses like Wilder? Can Martin or suchlike.

Have you seen how Arreola looked at the press conference? Like a tub of lard. He has almost zero chance even against Wilder.

Povetkin rips Arreola apart should they fight.

You must think Wilder's a lot better than I do.

I don't think Wilder's that good. I think Wilder is grossly overrated, I think Povetkin is the most overrated heavyweight in the history of ESB, and on the whole I tend to think Arreola gets slightly underrated.

I honestly think all 3 of these guys are basically on the same tier and similar levels.

Who said he should or he shouldn't? I merely posed a hypothetical.

Mismatch just as bad as Wilder - Arreola. Early win for Pov. 2-3 rounds, just like Wilder.

But nowadays Arreola is nothing like the one who fought Vitali Klitschko... At his peak Arreola was a solid B level fighter. Now he struggles against the likes of Fred Kassi and Travis Kauffman. He arguably lost both fights, Kauffman knocked him down... After that he got suspended because of marijuana obviously he didn't train while he was suspended. And now he only has a 5 week camp to fight Wilder...

Cristobal should probably be 1-3 maybe even 0-4 in his last 4 fights. Of course if he lands a huge shot on Wilder....then its possible, but at this point I'm pretty sure his power is gone as well. He looked terrible and was dropped against Kauffman and got a gift, he should have lost to Kassi, and argument could be made than he lost the match against Harper, and clearly the Bermaine KO was a loss.

Sure he had his momentary return to glory with his KO of Mitchell, but Banks KO'd Mitchell, I saw that coming from a mile away.

Wilder KO's Chris cold and I don't want to see it, because I like Chris he seems like a really good guy, but he doesn't have it anymore, at all.

Povetkin as much as I dislike him makes relatively easy work of Arreola as well.

Yeah. That's all true. But I still think Arreola has a great shot against Wilder. I think he'd have a good shot against Povetkin, too. Because I don't think Wilder or Povetkin are particularly good. And I don't think Arreola is particularly good either.

Ergo, I think we have a trio of fighters who are basically on a similar level talent-wise.

But apparently I'm in the minority, because while everyone seems to recognize Arreola is limited - a lot of people think Wilder is the next best thing, and then a lot of other people think Povetkin is some type of all-time powerhouse.

Me? I think we're looking at three mediocrities in the grand scheme of things.

I think Arreola is going to rise to the occasion and make a strong showing, win or lose. But then again, I openly admit that IDKSAB!

I may actually go all in on Arreola, both as an episode prediction, and in terms of v-cash.

    Good luck with that.

I see where you're coming from theoretically Chris is a stylistic nightmare, but I think his power is close to gone and his chin completely gone.

But I and my vCash will be rooting for him.:deal
