You could definitely be right. He appears to be in decent shape from what I've seen, as far as his career has gone, but that can be deceptive like Rid**** from Bowe-Golota II. In any case, I think prime "Quiet Man" beats all 3 - Wilder, Arreola, and Povetkin. WAR QUIET MAN COMEBACK! :smoke
You may be right....:think Although a hair-raising brutal Tua-Ruiz KO outcome shouldn't be ruled out in all three either.:!:
This thread is proof that folks need to see Wilder deal Arreola's come forward style. Even though haters have the built in excuse that Arreola is shot to ****, others need to see this name get utterly destroyed. Hating on the matchup while simultaneously hoping Wilder crumbles is pretty laughable and desperate.
I like Wilder and root for him regularly, I like Chris and don't want to see him badly hurt, which could happen. I've defended the hell out of Wilder and even gone as far as defending the Duhaupas, Szpilka and Molina matches. But Chris has looked awful as in horrific in his last 4 matches. This isn't a good match, Arreola is stepping stone opponent for Trevor Bryan/Jarrell Miller level at this point and I say that as a Wilder supporter.
At least you think Arreola doesn't have much of a chance. I was speaking to those that think he does while dissing it. I like Chris as well, as a person but this is boxing. This is what he wants.
Against Povetkin Areola will be brutally beaten and KOed in rounds most. Time for him to retire and open a burger joint...
There's not a chance in hell that Arreola will win that fight, he's a walking punching bag who couldn't even reach Wilder to punch back. He's the absolute perfect style of fighter for Wilder, I expect Wilder not only to win but to knock him out emphatically. If Arreola wins, Povetkin would destroy him.
Arreola's not only shot but he wasn't all that in his prime either. Even a prime Arreola wouldn't be some great win. Adamek FFS schooled him.
Povetkin would wreck pretty much any version of Arreola, this current version gets stopped very early.
I strongly disagree. The Povetkin who was made to look foolish and amateurish against Huck gets outclassed by most versions of Arreola, in my honest take. I'm honestly not convinced Povetkin would beat Arreola now.
