You contribute a great deal of boxing insight and knowledge to every thread that you participate in. I'm very happy that you're not just another hateful and racially biased individual. You provide a great example of courage to men, and ethics and values to children across this great land of our Lord.
Power is the last thing to go. Chris is still very powerful for a round, or 2. his conditioning just fails him. He has a shot early, but only for the first 2 rounds, maybe 3 IMO.
I am not sure how would that even be possible, especially in Arreola's case. Throughout his career he has basically been a tough guy with a solid punch and very limited skills, who only knew how to come forward and never learned how to defend himself. Arreola did have some kind of hype surrounding him before the Vitali Klitschko fight mostly because he was undefeated, but that's about it. Today he is just a tough journeyman type of fighter who has lost his toughness over the years. Basically every decent well schooled fighter beats Arreola, with or without the punch. I honestly have no idea how could he ever be comparable to the level of someone like Povetkin, an elite-level heavyweight with Olympic gold medal pedigree. Arreola would get badly hurt there. Much better, tougher and more skilled fighters than Chris Arreola fought Povetkin and got destroyed. I believe that Wilder blasts him without major problems, with a possible scare somewhere in the fight if he gets caught due to his leaky defense.
Arreola, assuming he can s****e his act together for one last roll of the dice, has a puncher's chance vs Wilder. Wilder's chin is dodgy, and if he can land ... maybe he can win ... though I am not holding my hopes up. Povetkin on the other hand has an excellent chin and frankly I see him stretchering Arreola in less than three rounds.
Pov would "moider the bum"! Funny that we actually have 2 Arreola voters atm. They must really hate Povetkin.
Arreola at his best couldn't beat Povetkin, Povetkin literally does everything better. This current version of Arreola isn't even as good as the Charr that fought Povetkin and we all saw what Povetkin did to Charr. Povetkin would rip Arreola apart and viciously KO him.
