Arreola vs Toney for chance at Wlad?

    Nevermind them fighting. Whoever manages to get under 235lbs gets the bout with Wlad. :good

    Toney ducking Arreola? Never. Toney wanted this fight, and so did Arreola, but their promoter Dan Goossen and Arreolas manager Al Haymon didn't want it. They knew their new rising star Arreola would get exposed by Toney, but they wanted to milk Arreola for all the cash he's worth first. As a result, Arreola never got really tested before he got thrown in with Vitali and embarrassed.

    As for even skill level, that's an insult to Toney. Toney is still way better than Arreola on a pure skill level, but to me it seems clear that Toney is not as good as he was only three years ago, in shape or not. The layoffs and the ballooning up and down in weight have finally taken their toll. That's why I see Arreola outworking Toney if they met now.

    Of course they would. Toney would give Waldo hell of a fight.

    Toney would take wide decission against Arreolla which is the reason Goosen didnt make this fight happen

    Toney is all done in 2011... He hasn't had a serious fight since he edged Oquendo in 2008....... Arreola is on the comeback and looking to get serious; Toney is on the way down looking to gain more weight.....

    Arreola is too big and young for Toney baby in 2011... At best, Toney will be competitve enough to make a good show of it, but he'll lose in the end...

    I really wish Wlad would set aside the next 12 months to put all these past greats away. Toney, Holy, couple others. Don't hurt them too much. Just put the fear of god into them. Bounce around the US giving them a decent payday so they **** off for good. Wlad's a charitable guy so maybe he can call it a humanitarian mission.
