Rogan winning the poll Probably because he comes in shape to do 12 non stop rounds and has a chin :deal
Well, I guess my point NOW is that being in respectable shape isn't synonymous with being a bodybuilder. The guy is out of shape and if he were to fight Rogan, he'd be fighting someone who remained active with a much better fighter in Skelton in the later rounds.
But according to some he hasn't fought stellar opposition like Israel Garcia, Travis Walker, Chazz Witherspoon, Cliff Couser, and Malcom Tann. Dang... Chris's resume is reading like friggin Jerry Quarry's all of a sudden.
Skelton better than Arreola? I'm sorry, but no. Arreola is stronger and he hits far harder. Skelton probably has better stamina, but I don't think Rogan would last long enough to test Arreola's. If he did, than yeah, he'd probably beat Arreola down the stretch.
Martin rogan has had 12 fights and 3 of those were in one night when he won the prize fighter tournie and he already has a better win then arreola in his 26 fights :dealthat is fact not fiction:good
Skelton went the distance with chagaev :bbband was stopped by roga n, so how do you think arreola gets on with chagaev in germany ??
uhhhhhhh, Quarry happens to have an incredible resume. Won or loss, he fought the top opponents... that was the point of my sarcastic comment. Come on, I can't spell all of this out.
Actually, that's opinion, and a misguided one based on Skelton's vicoury over a hugely below par Vidoz. The MD against Sprott is more indicative of his true ability. I'll tell you what though, the WAY Rogan beat Skelton was impressive - outSkeltoning him - very cool.
I got your point, and my point was that you don't need a resume as good as Quarry's to beat one containing Skelton and Harrison as the only fighters in the top 200 in the world.
It should be Larry - he'll lose against Fury. And I hate the idea of Fury beating him (or anyone else)
But not as fun. Imagine it: Arreola v Rogan. Two guys from different backgrounds from lineages where brawling and guts was expected.
