He was there to be hit. His lack of footwork and head movement sucked. Vitali a good as he is, is very beatable.

    Yea ok.

Arreola was not ready for Vitali....Everyone knew that. Most people thought he was gonna get destroyed and knocked out early in the fight.

He kept coming forward, tried his hardest, never ran. Yea He is a real disappointment, you have to be a real bum in order to loose to the Heavyweight champion who is 6' 8" 250 pounds of Muscle and completely athletic....and who has knocked out all but one of his opponets who he beat.:patsch

Reality is that Arreola is a Mexican Philsbury Doughboy. What else did you expect?

I thought Arreola performed pretty well given his ability. I just thought he should have brawled a little more. He was trying too hard with a double jab. He should have thrown some overhand rights behind a single jab to get himself closer. He did some decent work once he got inside, but the ref was also very quick to break them, something I thought was a bit unfair.

He took everything Vitali threw at him and still wanted more when the ref stopped it, While Sam Peter had already quit on his stool two rounds earlier. Nothing but respect for Arreola.

Arreola showed some good skill in the fight. Vitali just controls the terrain so well, and throws so many punches from odd angles. Arreola just couldn't get set, he is just too slow of foot. He tried hard though, and was willing to walk through hell to try to win the fight. For me, I was proud of Chris and his effort, he's a beast. The truth is that Vitali is a mountain of a man with a lot of tools. You have to be special to compete with Vitali.

Well, considering most figured Chris would be stretched out on the canvas by the 4th or so, he was a tough game opponent who never stopped trying, even after taking huge power shots.

I agree he should of used more head movement and feints to get in there against the bigger opponent. If anything, Chris showed he has a good beard and a great heart. I just hope he can take this loss as a learning experience and improve.

One can't have bad diet habits and slack off in training and expect to beat a Klitschko. These guys are very diciplined athletes.

He's only disappointing if you were expecting him to be any good. If you actually saw any of his previous fights; you knew he would stand there and get pummeled like the fat, lazy, ****** he is.

Arreola put his best effort there, sure he could have fought lighter, but still he did good.

Thing is, he was fighting someone who is on a higher level of talent, plus, had a good size advantage over him, which Vitali used to perfection.

Arreola did better than I expected. That said, I think his lack of dedication to training and his post-fight meltdown show that he isn't mentally strong enough to be a champion someday. If he can show me wrong, great! I'd like to see him dump that joke of a trainer to start with. He needs real professionals on his team if he is going to develop - not homeboys from the hood.

I think Arreola could grab a belt once the Klitz retire. He might be good enough to snatch a belt from a Chambers or Povetkin should they have a bad night.
